If she didn’t want to share, he wouldn’t force her. Perhaps she didn’t like talking about it. He would only hear confessions, not draw them out; it was for everyone to do themselves. It didn’t matter if it didn’t matter to her. And he had enough things on his mind anyways. “My name is Reverend Fujimoto, by the way.” A pause; he still had to ask… “Don’t tell me you haven’t had a proper bed or sleeping place in four months…”
Okay, well, at least he was nice. “Well-” she started, beginning to contemplate the places she’d slept. “I’ve been to three inns!” The rest of the time, she was quite content to sleep with her traveling partners wherever that may be. Under the sky was fine where she was from, but apparently here it was frowned upon. She’d always had food, even if it was sparse. So many rules here, they were terrible, really.
He had to admit it, even if she was a little clueless, and more straightforward than most of the people Shirou had ever met, she was rather endearing. "Three inns? And what do you do the rest of the time?" he asked, his voice not at all unkind. He stretched a little, waiting for a couple of seconds longer before he stood up. Truthfully, he himself was beginning to get a little hungry as well. "Sleep under the stars?"
