So listening to Bicycle by CHUNG HA (absolute bop, would recommend) anywho I’m vibing, stimming, you know the deal, and I fuckinh wink (not like even on purpose) and as it turns out it was in someone’s general direction- jury’s out in his full character, but he’s the classic bi white leftists who doesn’t actually give a shit about women. Anyway I’m absolutely terrified he thought I was winking at him. So how’s everyone else
I think I’m slowly starting to realize exactly how much that group made me question if I was a worthwhile human being or not. I know that was absolutely no one’s intention, but the small thoughtless slights really added up over time and made me think that I was too worthless to acknowledge when I was having an episode or even when I was talking about things I liked.
I still like almost everyone in there and I’m scared I’m going to end up losing most of those connections I made, but taking a step away has really helped me feel better than I’ve felt in a really long time.
Originally from @fireflyxsky but I think they deleted the post because I spent hours last night looking and I couldn't find it.
It's also for the same reason above that this post may seem kinda hectic because I'm trying to remember the old one.
Edit after I'm done: Ok, a lot of this actually came from my brain, but the base headcanon is still originally Firefly's.

Hyperthermia - The condition of having a body temperature greatly above normal.
——————————————————
SO, it makes sense to me that Error would have really hot bones and a very high internal temperature. For example, his bones would be warm to the touch and cold weathers/temperatures would bother him.
There are actually some things that work very nicely with this, being:
I put it under a cut because it's a bit of a longer post. PLEASE read it, I took so long to write it all /nf
- A lot of the time, I've seen the fandom compare his glitches to a 'burning sensation', but not Geno's. I know that Error glitches more and that could just be why, but if his internal temperature is higher than Geno's, then 'burning' glitches would affect him more (he's already hot, so it's just adding more heat). This would then mean that glitches do sting(ish?) for Geno/other glitch characters, but they aren't... noticeable? Something like that
- The Anti-Void has no temperature/weather/anything, so Error was stuck in what was essentially a massive bout of sensory deprivation. With no cooler weathers or other external means to cool his body temperatures, it would have kept getting hotter and hotter, especially with all the crashes that happened in his early years being trapped (next point). Eventually, his body would have acclimated to those hot internal temperatures and would have accepted it, finding a way to regulate them (hot external bones and natural hyperthermia).
- In relation to the crashes, imagine your computer/phone/whatever you're reading this on can't process whatever it's trying to do; it makes that whirring sound (laptops at least), gets hot to the touch, and potentially crashes/shuts down. Error doesn't have a fan to cool himself down (especially while he's stuck in the Anti-Void), so he crashes, but with no cooling method, he's still hot.
- Since he's constantly hyperthermic and it's become his normal way of life, he would need to find a way to maintain that. It's similar to the way that we as humans need to drink water to cool down or bundle in blankets to warm up. To do this, he wears multiple layers of warm clothing to retain body heat (his hobo outfit) and stays/basks in places where higher temperatures can be expected (ex. a laundry room/Hotland/closed room with heater on/etc.). You can and will find him nestled into a basket of fresh laundry.
- I've seen some people say that he's weak/averse to water, which meshes very nicely with this since most water can have pretty cool temperatures (ex. lakes/rivers/ocean surface/pools/etc.). If Error is constantly experiencing heat higher than everyone else and he went into/came into contact water that 'regular' people found cold, it would be absolutely frigid for him. Potentially, this could cause him to glitch more due to the shock or discomfort, raising his body temperature and making everything much worse. In this case, it could even lead to crashing, falling over, and getting some water in his sockets which would cause a nasty cycle of shock, glitching, struggling, and maybe crashing again, when he rebooted.
- With the above point, it also works with his haphephobia. His temperatures are so much higher than everyone elses', so anyone that touches him would be cold and uncomfortable to touch.
- There's also his bone colours! He went from a Geno with white bones to an Error with black, red, and yellow bones. Sure this doesn't seem like much, but if you put a metal rod through a forge, what colours do you get?
These
- A headcanon that goes with this is that sometimes he overheats (like a computer) because of external forces, and since he doesn't have his own really good cooling methods, he has to find other ways. Sometimes it can be: hiding in the Anti-Void since there's no excess heat or cold, just his natural temperatures that will even themselves out eventually; drinking water (he hates this one); destroying a particularly cold AU; hanging out in Waterfall, or if it's really bad, then Snowdin; or removing some layers of clothing.
- One last side headcanon is that the yellow and red parts of his bones kind of glow (the same way that the rod in the above picture glows due to heat). It would mostly be in the yellow parts and less in the red, just like hot metal.
Ok, so I don't even know how the idea even came into my head in the first place, but they have been using up every single one of my braincells since it did.

Basic Information:
Their name is Prism and their AU was destroyed a very long time ago. It’s because of this that hardly anyone knows its name
Their pronouns are primarily they/them, but he/him is acceptable
They’re over 100 years old, but they stopped actually keeping count a while ago so the exact number can only be found through a CHECK
Reckless (ex. Doesn’t always think things through)
Sneaky (ex. Good at hiding true intentions)
Other:
Their magic drains quicker in darker environments and slower in brighter
Stats and magic potency isn’t affected
The canisters on their belt are pretty much just flashbombs
They’re magic boosters and healers for Prism
They’re very socially awkward and avoid contact with AU residents
They spend their time going between the AUs that Nightmare attacked and helping to restore light. As they work and as more light is produced, Positivity is created as a byproduct. Think of those happy lights you can buy: you use them in the winter when there isn’t much natural light outside and the light produced by the lamp is supposed to make your mood better. Again, Prism has no direct hand in the creation of Positivity, it’s just made as a byproduct to their work.
Their soul is kinda just a glowy orb???

THERE WE GO!!
The post deleted once I was almost done so I had to redo it ;-;
Also this is just basic info, there’ll probably be more later :)
If you have any questions, please ask them!!! I’d love to talk about them more! :)
I made my own MV and even wrote the prologue for it, but I may or may not have lost motivation to finish it...
Also, I had NO IDEA how I wanted to design Mirage (Dream) or Tint (Ink). Much less any of the other characters.
Anyways, I'll post their character notes (including the little amount that I have for Mirage and Tint) and prologue beneath the cut
(please read ittttt)
Figment
518 years old
He/They/It*
‘It’ is exclusive to when the Corruption is in control
Two personalities (Nightmare/the Corruption)
The Corruption is unnamed, just uses pronouns/‘the Corruption’ for being referred to
After the fight, the two became much more separate from one another
Before they acted as one individual/consciousness - not split
Now only has 1 Negative Apple
Corruption over every joint
Agoraphobic
Avoids Mirage
Almost always with Circuit
Constantly tired
Due to low magic levels
The Corruption keeps itself on right side of the skull
Can expand to mouth to speak
Magic is only at the level it is because of the initial corrupting of his spirit
Magic:
Can merge into shadows to watch/move/hide
Can sharpen phalanges into talons via corruption
Vague/Hazy emotion sensing
AU teleporting (same way as OG Nightmare)
Emotion manipulating/enhancing
Uses it mostly to calm Circuit/the gang
Can summon a scythe that is enhanced by Negativity
The Corruption must take control for (two) tentacles
Not preferred by either
Circuit
827 years old
He/Xe
Glowy/Translucent wires
Overprotective of Figment
Destroys for anger/stress relief
Maintains Balance
(Doesn't know)
Has way too much magic
Fidgets a lot
Easily angered
Master Hacker
Will fight anyone that annoys him/threatens Figment
Usually ends in opponent’s death
No glitches
Hears two different sets of voices
Creators - Real people, generally like him, kind to him, encouraging
Voices - Imagined, can manifest as visual/sensory hallucinations, cruel
Body constantly runs hot
Can’t stand the cold
Wary of touching
Doesn’t like being touched without knowing about it
Must have permission to touch him
Then he’s *mostly* ok
Trauma-induced haphephobia
Too much excess magic + trigger can cause a “storm” where the surrounding area gets messed up and eventually destroyed
No control over it
When bad enough, can destroy AUs
Often causes memory blackouts
Xe “donate” magic to Figment to prevent this
To stop: either all excess magic is expended or Figment calms him
The AU where Figment ‘died’ wasn’t destroyed due to amount of healing magic used beforehand - there wasn’t much excess to trigger a storm
Magic:
Wires (OG Error strings)
Portals/Teleportation
Blasters
Sharpened bone attacks
Code access/manipulation
Used mainly for destroying AUs
Can read about people/information/timelines/stats
Kind of like a boosted CHECK
Electrical surges
Can effect appliances/lights/opponents
Transdimensional windows (like OG Error)
Archive
Stores xir memories/events revolving around xem
Mostly accessed to retrieve lost memories from storms
Mirage
518 years old
They/Them
24/7 guilt and depression
Isn’t exactly aware that Figment is still alive
Tint
764 years old
He/They/She
Ignores the Balance
Not good with responsibility/blame
Vials are taken less than OG Ink
Values intellect and logic over emotion
Prologue:
Every so often, Figment would wander aimlessly throughout AUs that held high Negativity levels just to absorb any excess that they held. On these short trips, they would often find themselves alone and just taking in the scenery around them. It was a rare occasion that Figment would even come into contact with any of the residents, usually just keeping to the shadows and watching from afar.
Unfortunately, it was on one of these outings that they found themselves confronted and cornered by the [good team name]. Of course, being in a potent Negative AU he had a slight advantage, but that could only last for so long when he was against a skilled fighter, his opposite (who was; however, weakened here), and of course, the creator of AUs themself. Figment fought for as long and as hard as he could, but even with the advantage he had, fighting the three of them together by himself was an impossible battle.
When the occupants of the AU had begun to take notice of the fight and start cheering for Mirage’s success, Figment made his move to retreat since whatever odds he’d had began to turn away from their favour. In order to teleport away, he shifted his focus back to himself as he began to lose his shape and melt into the floor. Just before he completely deformed, however; one last arrow struck true.
When Mirage had fired the arrow, they had expected Figment to dodge, block, counter, anything, but not to be hit directly through their chest. The arrow had impaled itself directly through his soul, instantly sapping any and all Negativity it touched; which had practically been all of it. Figment screamed in sheer agony, a blast of what little negative magic he had left shooting throughout the surrounding area and nearby Universes.
Aware of what the consequences of Mirage’s actions would be, Tint grabbed them and [Blue alt. name/Azure?] and painted a portal out of the AU to flee, leaving Figment by himself on the ground.
Just as they left, however; Circuit came running out of a portal, having felt the Negative burst from the Anti-Void. As soon as Figment was spotted curled in on themselves, laying on the floor and clutching their chest, Circuit ran over and fell to his knees, quick to work. Despite the fact that Circuit removed the arrow and continuously poured healing magic into Figment’s body, xe could feel the goo-covered skeleton crumbling in his arms. Figment smiled up at their friend and began to thank them, but as though time had run out; their body disintegrated, leaving a small pile of Corruption, a rotted apple, and dust.
Circuit screamed like never before as the Universe around him grew steadily more and more static.
As Circuit’s wails devolved into sobs, he didn’t notice the pile of Figment’s remains shift slightly. Finally, a small chirp drew xir attention down, only to see the negative spirit’s original form as a small ball of violet flame. Circuit let out a shaky laugh in disbelief as he stared down at Figment, torn between smiling and sobbing in relief. Another chirp as Figment’s spirit moved towards the apple and seemed to absorb it, their light violet colouring turning a much darker indigo and their flames shortening closer towards the main ball. The pile of corruption that surrounded Figment also moved closer, surrounding them protectively as it wrapped itself around them. All Circuit could do was watch through hazy eyes, tired and so beyond relieved that his closest friend was alright.
Figment moved closer to Circuit and nudged his legs, chirping up at him in a clearly exasperated tone. A soft laugh was the only reply they got before Circuit cupped xir hands and allowed Figment to move into them, the Corruption trailing closely behind. Xe held xir hands closely to xir chest, gently embracing Figment as he thought of ways to get them a new body, so they weren’t stuck in their spirit form forever. Slowly, the little spirit relaxed into his hands and closed their eyes, obviously tired from the ordeal and the fight beforehand. Circuit stroked a hand over the tops of the flames as they fell asleep.
Now, all that was left was to find this little guy a new body.

So anyways, that's that ^^
I likely won't finish it because I have another MV in mind....
