I love calling with you for hours and drawing together, talking with you about stories, characters, and rambling about our favorite movies and series! Your way of thinking feels so close to mine. I don't want to be dramatic, but our souls feel so compatible!

since she's sick and twisted in her own way, i've been thinking about how inara would make it easier for aizen to manipulate momo not just to aid him but to sate that selfishness in her

she would likely be the one to encourage momo's loyalty and love for aizen and then watching everything play out from the sidelines. in between captain's meetings when they see each other maybe she'd tell momo how much aizen values her as his subordinate and how he enjoys her company. very subtly planting those seeds in momo to take the bait. helping to set everything up perfectly for aizen. and of course momo would believe her being that inara is a captain-level herself.

i have her generally playing a lady macbeth sort of role while taking it upon herself to fuel the fires started by aizen. and in the case of momo it comes from a place of curiosity and uncertainty behind momo's obvious admiration and devotion to a man who doesn't actually exist, which inspires her to push further. she has to know how it will all play out because either way it will be ruinous for momo. she pities momo in a supercilious sort of way.

if she pushes aizen and momo closer together, encourages intimacy, would momo pursue it? or would she refuse out of respect for her captain? she has to know for peace of mind (and for the love of the game) so she ends up encouraging it. even if it hurts inara to some small degree, she knows how it will end for momo and that ending will be deeply satisfying for her.

Here's a birthday gift for @yararts ! Thank you for being such a huge inspiration, your art is really amazing, and it was really fun to try and imitate Arcane's style on Ainara. I hesitated to draw one of your Avatar OC but... Eh, you seemed more into Ainara lately !
