1) Harry Potter and the philosophers stone- i re-read it a lot. i guess its pretty common. i still remember the evening my dad brought it to my room and told me he thought i'd like it. i must have been 6 or 7 because the third one hadn't come out yet (i still have that same copy of the book and it doesn't even list azkaban. and it has the wizard with the brown beard on it, not dumbledore, my copy of chamber of secrets doesn't have azkaban either)
2) Skulduggery Pleasant (Derek Landy) - its funny and interesting. about a living Skeleton who solves crime, who wouldn't want to read that!
3) A Game of Thrones - a recent discovery but fantastic to read
4)The Ocean at the End of the Lane - Neil Gaiman - i started reading his books after his doctor who scripts, i watched him reading a bit on confidential and they were so poetic and detailed that i had to read something of his. and its really nostagic and magical
5) Beyond the Deepwoods - Paul Stewart and Chris Riddel (Who illustrates neil gaiman as it happens) i actually read this way before neil gaiman. my mums nickname for me is twig and thats the name of the main character. i had nothing to read on holiday so i borrowed it from my cousin. a fantastic adventure.
6) the Hobbit - read it as a kid. i was 4 or 5 when i went to school and they began to teach us to read. i asked where the words were. they gave me a book with about 5 words and i handed it back. they asked what i was reading and it was this, and some enid blyton (Whom i must remember to mention) they hated that i could read before school. 7) The Famous Five - the character of George was pretty inspirational to me. she didn't give a shit if people thought she was a boy and had short hair. it was shortly after that that i got my hair cut short and never went back.
8) of mice and Men - steinbeck - forced to read in secondary school but it was the easiest book to write about because the characters are all so obviously metaphors for everyone like them and every event is so well explained. you know how all the characters feel all the time and the chapters are all perfectly split into themes
9) Midnight for charlie Bone - one of my first forays into more sci-fi and fantasy novels.
10) H.I.V.E Higher institute of vilanous education. - lent my original copy to someone. never got it back. now only newer covers. that annoyed me. about a kid called otto who is an evil genius and sent to a school of evil geniuses at a young age. the escape attempt is awesome.

The lovely miranoire tagged me in this and its allowing me to continue procrastinating from writing my script, so here some stuff about me you didn't need to know! Under a read more so I don't clog dashes :)
1.) If you could go any place in the world, where would you go and why?
I would love to go to so many places its not even funny, on a large scale Italy; I've always wanted to go see the sights, drink fruity wine and eat my uncle Dino's family's pizza. Smaller scale I want to go to London, its so close but so hard for me to actually get to; I want to say I've been somewhere bigger than Belfast plus England holds people I care a lot about.
2.) Do you have any hidden talents?
Not really, I'm mediocre at most of the things I do and anything strange or startling people already know. I suppose I'll go with drink an entire bottle of tequila and still convince a frontdesk/doormen I'm completely sober.
3.) What is your favorite quote?
It changes but there are two quotes from A. A. Milne that always stick with me (apart from me being a massive fan of Winnie the Pooh they mean a lot):
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

4.) What is currently your favorite song?
Carlene Soraia's cover of 'Wherever You Will Go' has recently made its way to the top of my playlists.
5.) What is your dream job?
I find it hard to define my dream job as it has had to change so many time but I'd like to be able to work nearly anywhere in the tv and film business; preferably a producer or writer.
6.) What is your favorite quality in yourself?
My ability to adapt to change even if its in a selfdestructive manner and my ability to survive.
7.) Coffee or tea?
Coffee. Since three years old to the grave.
8.) Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Aurora, I'd say Mulan otherwise but she isn't a princess she's a motherfucking General.
9.) Who is your OTP? (Of any movie, book, TV show)
That's a hard question but I'll go with Cosima/Delphine, I'm not as big of a shipper as I used to be.
10.) What is something you love about where you grew up?
Whilst it was a bad area and had loads of trouble, it was never boring. Plus I developed real world skills and learnt certain things very early;
How to get out of dangerous situations.
How to take a hit.
How to adapt to social groups even if I'm uncomfortable.
How to deal with long term bullying and not let it destroy me
Sometimes the truth isn't whats best but don't flat out lie.
Don't steal, but you can find.
The police aren't all powerful.
Money isn't important.
Also kids were made to be outside at some point everyday, everything you needed was right across the road in the shop and it was a community where everyone knew each other. I gained a realistic view on the world, I may not be the most optimistic or well balanced but I'm happy about where I'm from.
