Of course, he couldn't help but think. This area had several well-qualified Rangers around, and Jackie, being a rank 9 traveling Ranger, probably had some important reason for him to be in the area, rather than one of the area's stationed Rangers. Sapphire perked up upon these new arrivals. Excitement shined in sea-blue eyes. She had never seen anyone like them before! This was really exciting. She had to know where they came from and what they were. Well, that's if they didn't mind her asking those questions.
