That's right. Botta gave up his life for Yuan's cause. He could have easily have had lackies take care of Rodyle's ranch. He should have done that. Allow others to die in Botta's place, but he didn't. All because he underestimated just how cruel and ruthless Rodyle was. He didn't expect Botta to die that day. Botta was meant to come back in one piece with a report of his success. Instead, he got a report of success and Botta's death on his hands. If he had the chance, he would have redone his plans. He wouldn't have allowed Botta to go. He would have stopped the man he trusted Martel's wish with. Yet, he couldn't do that. No, there was no making up for this mistake. A mistake that had happened over and over again. People dying. People suffering. It was what life had in store for those who got too close to Yuan, he knew this well. But, he knew better than to wallow in self pity. To regret the decisions Botta made for him would be insulting. So no. He would not shed a tear for the man who deserved so much more. He would not regret his decisions. It mattered not what others thought on the matter, but what Botta would have thought. He knew, deep in his heart, Botta would have said, 'Good work, Sir. You'll have to take over this time.' and that's exactly what he did. He had work to do. As always, but that time. He didn't have his right hand to help. He had to do it himself, and that's exactly what he did. And if yuan had the chance, he would have said. "Good work, Botta."
