The Olive Sea Snake (Aipysurus laevis) is a venomous species found in the Indian and Pacific oceans. This snake is well-adapted to life at sea and will typically patrol one area of coral reef for prey. Though it possesses a powerful venom, envenomations are rare.

Olive Sea Snake (Aipysurus laevis)

also known as the golden sea snake, the olive sea snake is a species of marine snake found throughout the Indo-Pacific. Like most sea snakes this species is highly venomous. They are mainly found in warm waters with coral reefs, where it hunts for fish and small invertebrates.
