Forty-two (42) may mean nothing to you. Its just a number right? The number following 41 and preceding 43, the product of 21 x 2, the sum of 40 + 2, and so on. But to me, it is something special. Its not just a number, but a symbol that reminds me of my one and only superrr IDOL! --- Danny Seigle! (whose Jersey No. is 42) haha :)
I'm a basketball fanatic since 2005 && Daniel Charles Seigle aka "Dynamite Danny" or simply Danny S. has been my all-time favorite basketball player! I admire him for being able to keep a low profile personality, and stay humble and kind in spite of his achievements. He's NOT the kind of player who is soooooo MAYABANG, shouts and run like there's no tomorrow when he scores, look at the opponent's fans and make face --- stuffs like that. Though I must admit, he has some problems controlling his temper! Haha. But thats okay, I still love and idolize him..

I've always dream of being able to meet him personally. Though I've watched a couple of his games live in Araneta, I never had the opportunity to be near him so I can talk to him, ask for pictures, autographs, and the like. [epic fail]. Haha.
But thanks to Twitter! Coz somehow my dreams came true when Danny S. sent me a direct message on Twitter last Sunday night (July-17-2011). Hahaha :)
Air21 Express was eliminated that night because of an 8-game losing streak. So to somehow cheer up Danny, I decided to make this tweet!
A couple of hours later, I received a notification in my Yahoo account stating that I've got a message from Danny Seigle. Curious and a bit excited, I hurriedly open my twitter account and check it out. And here's what I found ..
I actually can't believe that its true! It was the most shocking moment that ever happened in my life! and so when I got back to my senses again, I opened the message and here's what he had said ..
Just as simple as that! My reaction maybe a bit "exaggerated" but hey, this message came from the person I idolized the most! Hahaha. People who are close to me, and have known me for so long know how much this "one-of-a-kind-EVENT" means to me :)
And oh BTW, here's how I reacted upon reading DS' message ..
and here's what I replied to him..
I cannot DM him since he's not a follower of mine, so I just tweeted it..
That's all. Just wanna share how crazy and insane I am! Hahaha. Just kidding :)
