Tight end and offensive tackle are both offensive positions and he would be tackling no one! (Also offensive tackles carry a little more weight than Damon haha) Linebacker or defensive end, if he’s ending QB’s careers ;)

lol Look, friend, I understand the throwing and the passing and the fourth downs and the punt returns but I have no idea what any of these positions are actually called. The quarterback throws the ball to the wide receiver. The linemen tackle. Other people do... other things. I assume. XD

Oh man. Some ship was called Spanky as well, I think? Though one of my most enduring memories of SGA shipping wank is of someone mocking the sparky name and unironically saying that it lacked the “quiet dignity of mcshep”. I laughed about that one for a long time, because really, there is no good smushname. Except Filliam H. Muffman of course, that is the only exception.

Sigh. That one was where I finally gave in because tumblr wouldn’t do searches and tracks for tags with a slash in them and all of my fandoms were moving so decisively into tumblr. Obviously I wanted notes, so that was the beginning of the end :(

Ileliberte gently curved her moist lips, her huge limpet chocolate orbs hidden by her INCREDIBLY thick glasses. She wasn’t pretty, her mouth just a shade too large and smiling and her hair too glossy to be called truly beautiful, but those who took the time to get behind her quiet and shy façade knew that when she took her glasses off there weren’t many that could compare.

haha I’ll take it under advisement and avoid the magician movie, then. Panel shows are my go-to background noise for when I know work isn’t going to happen anyway, and I’ve ended up with a weird fondness for crochety british comedians.

Same here! David Mitchell, Jack Dee, Sue Perkins, they’re all so funny. I enjoyed The Bubble and was sad it only lasted one season. WILTY is great too. 

Sue Perkins did a show called Supersizers with David Mitchell’s brother-in-law, Giles Coren (a restaurant critic), where they ate historically accurate meals from diff eras in time for a week and then tested how much it fucked up their bodies. It was mesmerizing; from Sue getting bored doing era-specific “women’s work” to watching Giles’ unbearable snotty posh behavior about everything. And they had such great chemistry together, it’s so funny.

I found it and I am laughing in an embarrassing fashion. They were all so stressed out over their pork pies!

Apparently, whenever this show airs there’s a massive power surge on the electric grid in the nation at the end when everyone in the country makes a celebratory cup of tea. I can’t take Britain sometimes.

I’ve watched an embarrassing amount of things just because David Mitchell’s in it (don’t watch the magician movie, it’s bad), including his episode of Who Do You Think You Are?

Yes. Totally. Also, thank you for making me watch that video because I now feel relieved that I finally understand that actual cannibal thing. And by understand I mean that I at least know what it's from. I don't actually understand it at all...
