How did they first meet? John was in NYC for an exorcism and just happened to walk into Alice's bar for a drink first thing when he got in and Alice was working that night~

What was their first impression of each other? Haha so...Horny. They both chatted each other up and John charmed her enough that he took her back to his motel room. They didn't seal the deal however as Alice caught a glimpse of John's giant back tat that's just a huge magical sigil and Alice had long said she does not want to fuck around with people in the magical world anymore so she was like....uh I GOTTA GO.

When John eventually contacted her again during his stay (as he had seen the mark on the back of her neck and needed some help with the demon he was trying to hunt down), they got to actually like...work and talk together. Alice was eternally annoyed by him because he's so impulsive and shifty while John just loved poking her buttons.

Did any of their friends or family want them to get together? Well, the few occasions John interacted with Alice's mother she called him things like "cockroach" and "gutter wizard" and then he eventually helped Alice kill her so...I'm gunna say no on that front lmao. John's parents are both dead so...they don't really have an opinion. Chas, John's best mate, really liked Alice and he thought they were good for each other. Alice's very few friends are fine with him.

Who felt romantic feelings first? John! But he kept that on lock just because...the history of people he loves surviving or not suffering is not great. John just falls in love easy though.

Did either of them try to resist their feelings? Yes! Both of them. John for the reasons in the last question but Alice also super resisted. She isn't exactly in tune with those kind of feelings just because she...views it as a danger and that she might hurt John or anyone else close to her so she keeps people at a distance. And also she kind of punishes herself with not allowing anyone to get too close?

If you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think? They both would have laughed in your face lmao

What would their lives be like if they had never met? John would have continued his more reckless way of magic and lived out his life similar to what happens in his original comic run. Alice probably would have eventually been convinced by her mother to come back to the coven or would have lived out her days in NYC just...lonely and never touching the magical world again.
