"Believe in your own magic." One of the best parts about exploring my creativity through painting has been meeting some truly talented artists and getting to swap art with them. A few months ago I painted a stoner jellyfish for @iamtheawesomesauce and today I received the most lovely painting in return. This shark flying through the forest is her take on one of the inspirations for my novel-in-progress. Now it hangs beside my bed so as to inspire me while I sleep. #inspirationfuel #airswimmer #ghostshark

I just bought the shark for my 9 year-old niece. She'll like it, won't she? I'm basing this purchase decision on the fact that I would have wanted this at 9, and actually want one now.

Just spent the most wonderful evening with friends. We watched the Big Fat Quiz of the Year, then we flew a inflated Nemo through a barn with lots of cows in it, played some WII, got frustrated at Jigsaw Words but worked it out and then to top it all off, my brother let me drive!!
