I dare to ask something after rereading some things recently... How did you come up with the pairings for your sparkr storys? Sure some are classics like P/J but others like Sideswipe/Blaster and others are complicated (the seekers). Thanks and keep having a nice day :)
I have no idea where the pairings came from, to be honest. 😂
I knew I wanted to do some fics where it wasn’t just a pat “found someone on a dating app, and things were perfect, and they lived happily ever after.” I wanted to do something a bit different.
For Blaster/Sideswipe, I wanted do to something with drunken regret sex, and then it grew out of that. And for Bluestreak/Sunstreaker, that was right when I was first getting a handle on writing Bluestreak, and Sunstreaker felt like a good character to throw him in with. Then for Starscream/Wheeljack, I was inspired by some StarJack fics I’d read.
I do have some upcoming Sparkr fics planned! Without getting too spoilery:
A sequel for Blaster/Sideswipe called Must Like Cats. It’s about (?) halfway done.
A sequel for Bluestreak/Sunstreaker tentatively titled Paint Night. I just have the basic idea for that one.
A sequel for Starscream/Wheeljack tentatively titled Interdisciplinary Collaboration, which ends up being a StarSkyJack story. :) Again, just a basic idea.
A new fic for Orion Pax/Senator Shockwave. Still in the planning stages.
And finally, a new fic for Smokescreen/??? I have some vague thoughts but I want to decide how far down that path I want to get... Suffice it to say that will be a very different story than the others.
