Sure! So, each Meekrob is comprised of two entities. They reproduce through a type of fission, so no other Meekrob is needed in the process. Making a baby Meekrob requires a ton of energy, and usually the parent doesn't survive the process.
Selpa's did! Their name was Aishdeel, and they were basically everything their child wasn't. Kind, loving, forgiving, and very excitable. They enjoyed puns and nature.
Selpa (Insmeeth, before they took Irken form) was a bit of a menace on Meekrob, and was sentenced to Moo-Ping 10 right before the invasion. Aishdeel was horrified, worried - and plotting a way to get their delinquent child out of the situation. Unfortunately, they never got the chance, as they didn't survive the Irken takeover.
They didn't have a perfect relationship, but Aishdeel and Insmeeth loved each other, and one of Selpa's biggest regrets is wishing he'd been kinder to his Life-Bringer.
