Holy crap, Jena’s single actually made it within the iTunes Top 100.

Look, we’ve got to grade on a curve here. Idol’s iTunes sales are nearly non existent. For a song–a new non cover song–to make it within the Top 100 after one play is actually pretty damn impressive.

It’s been a long slog through many two-hour performance nights with not enough singing to fill them. But tonight, as they do every year, Idol quietly flips back the old format. Tuesday performances, Wednesday results, and the time adjusted to fit what is there, rather than forcing stuff to be there to fill the time.
