He played a little with his backpack looking around the square waiting for his sister. She promised to take him shopping today on her costs and he was going to use that opportunity in every way. It had been some time since he last saw his sister so he had been kind off looking forward to it a lot. He sipped on the ice coffee a moment before as he kept a look out. Of course as usual she was late. He finished the drink and threw it in the trash can just as he saw her appear. “NEECHAN” he screamed as he walked to her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug.
"I missed you” He gave her a soft smile before taking her hand. “Now let’s go shopping, you promised you’d buy me clothes and food today” He took her hand and pulled her along to different stores “What have you been doing lately? Have you missed me?… Can you buy me that cap?”
He stopped for a moment standing in front off her looking her straight in the eyes. His face suddenly with a serious expression. “I really did miss you sis….”
Mika didn’t mean to be late but it seemed like she was keeping the tradition for she had found herself running towards their meeting place yet again. Despite her best effort to get everything taken care of long before the time designated, things just kind of dragged themselves over till she had all but minutes to get ready. Lucky for her though, Hoseok didnt look too annoyed, even finding it in himself to give her a hug before he started rattling off.
"Hello, otouto." She returned his enthusiastic greeting, a grin plastered on her face as she tried tomatch his pace. Holding his hand, she swung them a little as she listened to his jumble of words, making agreeing noises whenever she thought was appropriate. It had been a while since she got to see more of him after all, and she decided to just enjoy his presence, greedily taking in details she might miss during the next long absence.
All thoughts got derailed though, for the steps came to an abrupt end. The stern face looking back at her too speedily brought her back to the present. Belatedly, her grin softened as her mind caught up with the earnest words. "I never doubted that, little brother. And I missed you just as much. I'm sorry for taking so long, but I'm here now."
And as she hugged the arm she had been holding to, public display of sibling affection be damned, she wondered how long they could last before the tender moment burst and either of them succumbed to their natural banter.
