The way Pacey looks at Joey before she goes on a date with AJ breaks me every time

So, I just realized something about the actor who played AJ in Dawson’s Creek.

He’s introduced as a Harvard student, who is fairly condescending to Joey. He is very critical of and infantilises her interests when he asks her what her favorite book is as he is teaching a Lit class.

Also here is Robin Dunne as AJ Moller:

...Anyway, Joey’s favorite book? Little Women.....And another role of Robin Dunne is as Franz Bhaer (Jo and Friedrich’s nephew) in the Little Men series:

Now I understand that this was almost assuredly unintentional, but I’d love it if whoever was in charge of casting for Dawson’s Creek knew of his previous work and wanted that connection in there
