okay what if Cecil really loves tea and Carlos is lazy when it comes to tea and he just boils the water in the microwave and Cecil sees him do this and nearly has a heart attack so he publicly appeals on the radio for someone to bring Carlos a kettle and at the end of the week Carlos has about three dozen kettles. (this is really lame oops.)

In my experience, you can’t really think about enlightenment when it’s right in front of you, you just /know/ and that’s the end of it. But, I’m hardly an expert with these things.

Well there's a definite impression of knowing but part of my current position involves the acceptance that, everything being pretty relative, what I know right now may end up being dismissed as silliness in a few minutes or hours or years. But that's wrapped up in the knowing, so I guess it's okay???

I mean it's pretty nice to have come to the realization (I use realization as a relative term, as a realization is just an opinion that you've recently acquired and that seems pretty legit) that enlightenment is utterly irrelevant but, fuck, what if I wake up in the morning thinking that such a realization is, itself, enlightenment? Is that a good or bad thing to think?! In considering such a realization to be enlightenment, would I be negating the realization? Awkward.

I’m not fond of spiders generally, but I have a weakness for zebra jumping spiders, they’re adorable. There’s a small colony of them on my windowsill. I wouldn’t mind if it was one of those. ahah;;

I admit I dislike the spiders that are pinhead-sized or smaller. But aside from that I like all spiders. I used to be ambivalent, but with all the spiders living in my room in New York, we came to an agreement, and although it was for a few years rather a bit chancy, with some murders on my side, we ended up becoming friends and when I moved here I had to befriend the different spiders but the ones in my room are more diverse here anyway. I like them, even if they're also scarcer than they were in my room in New York. Spiders are nice. They are there when I am lonely or sad. They are also pretty, and sometimes they eat other things. (If they ate bees I would be very angry, but I have never seen them doing that.)
