Bengals are a breed of domesticated cats, jsyk. The ones people really shouldn't be breeding and selling are servals, they are legit wild animals.
if by “domesticated” you mean they were bred by humans, sure. but they were bred by crossing domesticated cats with the asian leopard cat, which is unarguably a wild animal, and at least in the US it’s illegal to own any bengal cat that isn’t at least four generations removed from their wild ancestor, so. ppl do it all the time, bc they’re stupid, but they can get in a looooot of trouble if they’re caught.
