Hey! Been a while!
Bunch of gesture drawings from a workshop I took with Adam Dix! Learned a lot about flow and characterization when doing gestures.
I always default to this like... pieces style of figure drawing where I've gotten very familiar with a shorthand that breaks the body apart. An example of that creeping in is the second image above! But Adam really inspired us to focus on flow and shape and exaggeration and that really helped me break out of that comfort zone.

I love their height difference hehehehe it's going to be fun to play with huehuehue
plus a lil glance at my costume process! When trying to figure out what he wears, it helped to do a chibi version first rather than figuring it out in his full-body drawing. Helped me focus on just the outfit rather than ALSO worrying about the pose.
Drew my partner's DnD character Elorian!! He's a Faye artificer and the love of my DnD character's life... buuuut they just haven't fully admitted it yet. I'll be posting the other side of our duo soon 💙
Been getting back into vampires this year... so here's my oooold old OC, Alice, a vampire hunter with, sadly for her, a vampire inside her named Victoria. And she doesn't play nice. Luckily they're both after the same thing - the vampire who fused them together. She's super nostalgic to me - I made her originally in 6th grade! I even roleplayed as her back in Barton Town on Gaia Online!! But I still love her. I'll always have a soft spot for vampires.

Participated in Kimodameshi 2023 this year! Here's the first pile of them from that event back in April featuring my OC Zephyr. <3
If you don't already know what Kimodameshi is, it was a month long challenge to do a figure study EVERY DAY and if you didn't post it in the discord were MURDERED -ahem- kicked from the discord forever. AND I SURVIVED So I'll be posting some of those pieces over the next couple days~
