Ghost || OPEN
Jehan had cleared out for the movers, eager to meet his new “roommate” without scaring him off. He’d made the mistake of appearing too early last time and the poor couple moving in had been so afraid they had promptly turned the movers around, loaded the truck back up and a for sale sign slapped back into the window. He had been here for, well, for a long time. Every new owner was given the rundown, a break and entering gone wrong 50 years ago was the only mark against the flat and since then the neighbourhood had been improved immensely! Promise! Sure, there had been over 10 owners in the flat since then, most only lasting a few weeks, but that had nothing to do with the flat. It had everything to do with the ghost but the people selling it never mentioned that. Now he was sitting in the windowsill, watching the van drive away. Maybe he could convince this new one to stay.
He stood silently and went off in search of them, nosying around before poking his head into the kitchen and giving a grin when he spotted the new owner of his flat preparing a meal. He snuck up behind and peered over their shoulder, taking a quick look at the ingredients before smiling again. “Lasagne?”
