Summary: “Wait, why are you locking the door and closing the blinds?” Kija asked obliviously. “I prefer not to have my beautiful face splashed across every single magazine in the world tomorrow morning,” Jae-Ha explained as if it wasn’t obvious. “I’d like for you to do the part you’re currently struggling with and I’ll help you along the way. That’s the fastest way but only if you are comfortable, of course. Is that ok?” He took off his jacket and put it on the couch. “Wait, but the actress who plays with me is not here. How can I do a kissing scene alone? Should we call her?” Kija asked once again obliviously. Jae-Ha brought his palm to his eyes. “Kija, my dear, I’m the one who’s gonna play her role.” (Or, Kija is having trouble with a kissing scene for the movie they are working on and asks Jae-Ha for help, but what Jae-Ha doesn't know is that there's more than meets the eye in his coworker's words.)

This fic was soooo funny and sooooo good. The kissing scenes were really well done, and it was really entertaining to watch the two of them come up with increasingly thin excuses to make out with one another. The ending got me, too. It's a great fic! Please give it a read!

Joo-doh left them once Yona was safely back in her own chambers. He’d exited the room with a polite bow, but when Hak moved to depart as well, Yona snagged his wrist. Her grip was tight.

“Stay, please,” she said.

Hak was silent for a moment, then he simply sat down on the floor next to her futon. “Sure. I’m your bodyguard, after all.” 

“Thank you,” she sighed. She’d already scrubbed off the dirt and grime from the road earlier that day, so she stepped behind a screen in the room to change into a robe for sleeping. When she stepped out, she said, “There should be a spare futon in the closet.”

If it had been before they’d left the castle, they would’ve only done this when one of them was sick, most likely with Su-won present, as well. Su-won wasn’t here though, instead stuck in a cell, and although no one was sick, it was certainly reminiscent of that time when Yona was terrified of sleep paralysis and her own nightmares of Hak’s death. 

She wasn’t scared of her nightmares anymore. She was just scared of them becoming a reality.

Wtf was Yuhon even doing. He kept trying to make Yonghi feel better and instead traumatized her multiple times 😭 anything but actually talking to her and understanding what she needs

Actually in a convo with my dad, I said that Yuhon harshly rejected the gods, fate and the prophecy, yet he got so caught up in it that he failed to even acknowledge the personhood of Yona, Kashi and even Yonghi herself. For someone so against the concept of divinity, he sure didn't care about people either
