Time to watch Su-won get arrested lol
“I regret to inform you, Lord Su-won, that you are under arrest on orders of His Majesty.”
Yona was immediately stunned by the words. She knew her father would be upset, but arresting Su-won? And what about her and Hak? It wasn’t as though he’d acted alone.
Of course, she wasn’t the only one upset. There was an immediate uproar of complaints, from Jaeha, Kija, Hak, and Kye-sook. Joo-doh was quiet, but his scowl was deep. Shinah had a hand on his blade, as if he was ready to resort to violence against the guards.
“You can’t be serious! What crime has Lord Su-won committed?” Kye-sook asked.
“I’d like to know that too,” Hak said, his tone low.
“He’s been a stringent ally of Her Highness!” Kija added. “Why is he being arrested? He helped in gathering the—”
Kija was silenced when Su-won cleared his throat, quieting everyone present. He only offered a lukewarm smile. “Everyone calm down. I expected this, so it’s no problem. King Il is just upset with me, so I expect I’ll be released once he calms down a bit. General Joo-doh, if you’re worried, I’m sure no one would protest you coming with me.”
Su-won tipped his head towards the guard who’d be arresting him, and he only nodded. “Of course General Joo-doh may supervise.”
Everyone turned to Yona, who narrowed her eyes at the guard.
“Answer Kye-sook’s question,” she demanded. “What crime has Su-won committed?”
