An OOC question! What does Sakura-mun think of Aka Youkai? (The mun, his roleplaying, and the AU of Naruto that he plays)

the mun: haven't really spoken to him much besides discussing the plot for our thread, but he seems like a serious guy imo. lighten up man! or people will run away cause they think you're unfriendly... then again it might be just me being a loser cause he hardly ever uses emoji in his messages so im quite intimidated lolol. >.<

his roleplaying: actions are fitting for his AU naruto's personality, but descriptions might need a bit of work. ignore me though, i'm just nitpicking. (i have to work on that myself too...)

his AU naruto: i've never really fancied all-powerful dark naruto with a harem, even in fanfictions etc. but hey, i'm open to all kinds of ideas so it's cool. in this AU context, his naruto is portrayed quite well and i quite like roleplaying with him.

Hey, I've got a question. What constitutes a "popular" roleplayer here on Tumblr?

I have no idea. Every definition I've ever gotten is utter bullshit. :V

If you go by follower count...Before I moved it, my old RP account ended up with 3,000 followers and I was apparently a "popular" roleplayer, despite not really RPing much or getting many messages. (Most common reason given for not RPing with me was "oh, you're probably busy!" No I wasn't.) During this I knew people who had under 200 followers who were flooded with activity and had to turn people down for RPs because they had too much stuff on their plate. 

If you go by how much activity someone gets up to...That might be more accurate, I think? But even then, as stated above, people who might not have a wide circle can still get a lotta shit done just because they've got a lot of energy and their friends can match that level. 

I think too much emphasis is placed on follower count and it doesn't actually mean much at all. It's just a number people take far too seriously. Having a high follower count certainly doesn't mean that all those followers talk to or even acknowledge the person they're following. Having a low follower count certainly doesn't = low activity. (Besides, if you start getting up in follower numbers... Most of those accounts are abandoned, or the same person following you on multiple accounts. I know a full fucking NINETEEN of my current followers are one person who has an army of accounts.) 

The whole issue of popularity is a bit ridiculous, really, because people get jealous and violent and stressed out over something that no one can really agree on. When they can agree on it, it doesn't actually mean much at all, as I've said above. The concept is, quite frankly, stupid. I don't worry about it and I shake my head at people who put a lot of stock in it. 

Popular sure as hell =/= quality, anyway.

Ino would have kept her lips pretty, tightly shut about Naruto, but today, something had compelled her to open them and for her to say just how much she could actually fall for him.

"... That cheeky smirk... it's really hot," she answered casually, intent on leaving it at that, but already, her lips were parting to divulge more information. "And that physique, I like him broad-shouldered and strong."

I have a few favourites, actually (kagura-shingan, ask-hatake-kakashi, themostsinisterchakra, madaraxuchiha, forgottenloneliness, mister-sauce, shintenshin-nin, and yourself, to name a few from the top of my head) . It's just that I haven't RPed with some of them. So I'll have to say kagura-shingan, because her portrayal of Karin is brilliant and I've spoken to her out of RP; she's really nice to talk to. ^^
