if you'll let me ramble about my self-insert character for a bit. they don't have a persona but they've been to the metaverse because of Goro. they've learned how to be a navigator without a persona and guides Goro in the metaverse! but they don't do it often because Goro doesn't want to put Chifuyu in harm's way and Chifuyu has very low stamina. they are in the special education class due to their asthma being very difficult for them to control. they also have autism and schizophrenia, which is why they need special attention. the two met because Goro has special circumstances as well, since he's a high school detective and doesn't come to class often. the two have a little bit of a competition on who can have higher scores, and it's a bit of a friendly competition. when Goro does go to school, they spend their time together, often in silence.
