Imagine it though Sephirothmon flying in the sky in the worm mode and the other nine just riding on his back, some having a hard time not falling off (because they wouldn’t have anything to hold onto really :v) and some having the time of their life (because they’re flying), and Sephirothmon just generally feeling annoyed for having to be their “air bus”.

alright so i have a theory that a lot of stuff was probably cut from Frontier due to time restraints, money, ect. (like, the fact that there are designs for the ancients, as well as the existence of Strabimon, those four other kids, only two royal knights being used, ect.) So my question is, what is something you would have liked to see added to Frontier's plot, and why?

THAT ACTUALLY MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. WHOA.

I wouldn’t considder the existence of the Ancients’ designs to suggest that stuff was cut out, it’s the fact that they were referenced to like, a lot. Like, way too often. They were even used in the opening, so like, yeah, I do think there might’ve been a scrapped original ending where there Ancients did appear but it had to be cut out/changed for whatever reason.

The fact that we also have three other Digimon that would probably be like the Double Spirit Evolutions for Izumi, Junpei, Tomoki and Kouichi does suggest that stuff ended up getting cut out (talking about Jet Silphymon, Rhino Kabuterimon, Daipenmon and Reichmon; all of these Digimon have the same requirement as Aldamon and Beowolfmon (Jogress Human and Beast Spirit to get the Digimon) and they all have the same sentence in their Reference Book Entries (”A Digimon that possesses power over *Element* that has transcended legend by inheriting all the might of one of the legendary Ten Warriors and acquiring unknown abilities“), so yeah, stuff was probably cut out, causing the dreadful overglorification of Takuya and Kouji D: (Which is probably what resulted in there being just two Royal Knights- one for each of the two, having more would mean that if the other Chosen couldn’t evolve, then they’d just get killed).

As for the four other kids, honestly, I always simply saw them as just being there to deal away with the plothole of “why did Ofanimon call all these kids and what happened to them”, because yeah, that plothole would’ve existed if those four hadn’t been there to deal with it. :v (Also the fact that there aren’t Double Spirit Evolution equivalents for the Four Nerds does suggest that the four kids weren’t meant to inherit their Spirits (The fact that Mercuremon and Sephirothmon can be Jogressed to Black Seraphimon doesn’t count >:V)).

ANYWAYS MY RAMBLING ASIDE. UHM. There’s two ways I can answer to that question. I could tell you what I wish would have happened in Frontier instead of what we ended up getting, or I could tell you what my ideal Frontier sequel would have in it. Because they’re sort of different things.

For what I would’ve wanted to see in Frontier instead of what we got is sort of just three things, aside from having less of Takuya and Kouji’s overglorification. A subplot with Neemon to give him a little bit more character. And I would’ve wanted Kouichi to be Kouji from the future, who’s trying to stop himself from going to the Digital World, instead of him being just Kouji’s twinbrother. That would’ve been a thousand times more interesting and would’ve added to the whole time travel aspect of traveling back and forth the Human and Digital World and it would’ve added to Takuya turning into Flamon. And third thing I really would’ve liked was if Takuya had to do more to turn back into human instead of just manning up and going back to the Digital World. Like I would’ve liked it if he had been stuck as Flamon for some episodes (maybe turning back during the fight against Mercuremon).

What my ideal Frontier sequel would add to to the Frontier mythos though, would be (aside from giving everyone the evolutions they deserved) of course giving the Chosen the ability to evolve into the Ancient Warrior Ten, giving Neemon a dark backstory/subplot, getting the Four Nerds to team up with the Chosen as themselves (because if Mercuremon isn’t voiced by Masutani Yasunori then you might as well not have the Four Nerds there) in the fight against evil, and bring the Demon Lords into the Frontier mythos as the villians.

Oh, and I want to Sephirothmon get used as a green flying bus of death.

I mean really, who needs trains when Sephirothmon could give you a ride.

As for why I’d want that stuff, well, really I just want my favorite characters (Neemon and Mercuremon) to be there, I want them to matter to the story as much as possible, and I want the best part of Frontier, its lore, to continue to shine and be very deep and involved, using as many Digilore elements in it as possible to its best ability (hence why I’d want the Demon Lords to be the villians- they already fit right in there thanks to Lucemon). And honestly, my favorite parts of the latter half of Frontier was the two times we got to see the Warrior Ten together. It was just bad-ass, so I want more of that.

(But no Royal Knights. Because they’re overrated.)

(Also I want to see Bokomon and Neemon get married already. That should be the ending. Neemon and Bokomon setting off on their honeymoon.)

I MIGHT I'm not sure yet...I'd really like to, especially to test out picaro and see how that goes...but my tablet cord died and the replacement hasn't come in yet ;;

BUT my sister has the same tablet as me so maybe if she let me borrow her tablet cord...haha I guess I'll go beg her to let me borrow it for a few hours!! Because I really don't think I can go another day without drawing something @@;;

So I guess if she does let me borrow it I'll be good to stream in like a half hour or so today, and if not then maybe for a little bit tomorrow if the cord comes in.
