Violet & Dylan // The Basement
Indie rock music surrounded the still room from upstairs, almost making it seem that life was still there in that empty house. The honey blonde was humming to the music, reading old books again and again, only waiting for the time to pass through to Halloween to get new ones. But, Halloween was so far away, it seemed and there was nothing to do. It was all the same routine every single day, whether there were new owners or not. It was truly dull to the young ghost, tapping her finger on the cover on a book beside her. Then, it hit her. An idea.
Rushing out of her room and down the stairs, into the hallway, she was directly going to the basement. There was a bit of tension once she got to the door, knowing that she might risk seeing Tate there. At the count of three in her head, she opened the door to only reveal darkness and with that, she counted her way down the familiar stairs as the light flickered.
Looking around, she didn't spy Tate anywhere but, she did see a familiar ball that was gently swaying. Bending down in front of the ball, she rolled it to the shadows as she did before, hoping that she wasn't alone there in the basement with Tate, Hayden and all the others.
