Ueda is/was still the strangest character in BSD universe. I've never met a character who got introduced, killed some big villain, and then died all in 3 chapters.
Asagiri took the “lived / served cunt / died” meme and absolutely ran with it

Ueda truly feels like a fever dream bc why did that dude come in just to die in 3 chapters. Bsd can be so funny sometimes
Akinari so far is the funniest character ever. They came, killed the God/their son, and died all in 3 chapters
Most importantly, they died before the manga could assign them a gay situationship, which is unheard of in the Bungou Stray Dogs franchise
Ueda's death makes me think that Sigma might die too ngl
As I mentioned on the fly here, I do have an underlying feeling that Sigma is going to die– if anything, because he doesn't fit in the doa, he said the Sky Casino wasn't a place he could call home, and personally I struggle to envision such a drastic change as him permanently joining the ada; so the only option left to untangle his presence in the narrative is having him to die pfffttt. Then again, bsd usually doesn't kill characters with a major role, so I'd say that chances for it to happen are still very low.
I knew this would happen after 'they' collapsed in the previous chapter bruh
Apparently bsd can only really die one way that is: by dramatically crumbling in thin air
So *they came, served cunt, and died all in 3 chapters
One too many “no one ever dies in bsd” joke I fear 😔
I swear the fact that Akutagawa is the one presented directly after the words “I've always lived my life for someone else's convenience, without realising that it was the cause of my own misfortune” is causing irreparable damage to my brain. His pensive and somber expression as he looks at Ueda disappear, lonely in their “choosing nothing”...
I wonder if Sigma and Ueda have a connection
You mean other than their shared nonbinary swag?
