My akito headcanons… +adhd I just forgot to write it
the kamikou students (except ena because she’s sleeping) occasionally play mafia/werewolf together
rui’s pretty much always the storyteller because of course he would be
toya usually gets killed early on because everyone knows he reads mysteries, he doesn’t mind that much (though sometimes someone feels bad enough to let him live for longer)
the rounds almost always devolve into akito and an accusing each other constantly. mizuki finds this hilarious and rui rarely picks them to be the mafia/werewolf to mess with them.
tsukasa screams at the top of his lungs when he dies, this is the only reason he lives until the end
meanwhile nene is trying her best to just play the game
niigo miku likes football and it's akito's fault.
Akito saw a Hatsune Miku custody battle meme when Japan played Brazil and showed Ena because she doesn't really care about football but she does care about Miku so Akito wanted to attempt to get her to care via Miku.
Ena still doesn't care about football but she did show niigo Miku the meme and she wanted to understand better so she watched a match with Mizuki and now she loves it.
akito was NOT adopted. quite the contrary, he was an accident
idk if i’ve already put this in here but uhhhh the Shinonome siblings swapped names <3 as a dare <3 when they were younger <3 and it ended up in both of them realizing they’re trans <3
Akito and Toya refuse to label their relationship past "he's my singing partner" because that requires them to Talk About It and Akito would rather die than talk about his feelings and Toya doesn't really know how to explain his.
They don't know that they have other options than friends or dating, and it's really difficult to explain "I don't want to date you but I think we're something other than friends" if you don't know that's an option.
Super long HC dedicated to N25 and how exactly they operate as an Anonymous Group because it means way too much for me.
Member roles and aliases are known, so like fans do know that K is the composer, Amia is the lyricist etc.
The members who sing in each song is stated in the lyrics, this was how fans determined which voice belonged to each member
Mafuyu is their primary lyricist, but for the rest of Niigo's comm songs, they co-write the lyrics for the songs with Mafuyu helping with the flow/put their feelings into words if they are unable to find the words for it. All comm songs go by their real life names (*since in Ena1 its mentioned that Jackpot Sad Girl is called Marionette in canon)
The only times Mafuyu wasn't creditted as the lyricist were Bake no Hana and Yoka Ni Mitorete. Those two songs were also released days apart from each other, Niigo felt like it was only right to do so instead of making fans wait 2 weeks (that's what I HC their release schedule to be like) for the sequel/answer to one of the darkest songs yet.
They release other, unnamed, songs in between covers and comms. A lot of these are also experimential in nature as Kanade tries out different moods and styles.
After some point in time, they started adding little comments at the bottom of each release which is just silly thoughts and notes on the song. Some of these include them talking about their unexpected rapping skills or just them messing around with each other
Mizuki loves reading all the fan theories, many times she's taken away by how accurate some of them are. Depending on the theory, song and day, she shares her findings with the rest of Niigo.
The niigo members take their anonymity very seriously. Both Mizuki and Ena actively avoid karaoke with others so they don't find out that they can sing quite well. Mafuyu actively uses arrangements very different from N25/OWN's arrangements during music lessons
Bonus: funny character interactions involving Niigo members because of their anonymity
Akito has an obsession with Close to Grey. Ena has walked in on him blasting that at max volume in his room. He chased her out moments later saying "she won't get it", Ena proceeded to crashout on Nightcord right afterwards. He also "gatekeeps" I Nandesu from her because he doesn't need to hear it blasting throughout the house. (It's good for him that Ena's serious about the anonymity because otherwise she actually would)
By some stroke of luck, Shizuku heard Jackpot Sad Girl once and got a tad bit obsessed with it. She then went to Mafuyu during club and recommended her the song. Mafuyu had to do a spittake and almost dropped her mask on the spot.
An loves Venom, she's kind of tormented VBS with it before so the song is banned from warm ups. Mizuki has to keep holding in her laughter every time An mentions it.
Honami has literally seen Nightcord MVs on Kanade's computer but assumes Kanade is just a massive fan of N25 and is using their songs as inspirations. This includes at that time unreleased songs. Kanade doesn't know how Honami has yet to connect the dots.
Rui is the only character to know one of the niigo identities, that being Mizuki. He clocked her in the time it took for him to finish listening to Composing the Future. He just sent her a message saying "are you Amia" and the rest was history.
Airi occasionally wonders if Ena is Enanan from N25, because she knows Ena well enough that she sucks at making usernames. So an alias that is just 3 more letters than her name raises an eyebrow for her. Ena is just glad Airi has a packed schedule so she doesn't have time to ask.
