Who is Akyri and.. why the hood?

“I’m just me!

I wear a hood because caves are wet and water drips from the ceiling a lot.  It’s kind of annoying to be walking and suddenly get drops of cold water on your head or in your eyes or something.  Most people here wear them for the same reason and just take them off when they’re in a house or shelter.

People can wear hats instead if they want!  Hoods are just easier because they’re already on your clothes.”

How did/does Akyiri live before and after her soul was damaged?

“You could say it’s like night and day.

Let’s assume life was much more complicated after the damage-- tired, sluggish, even lethargic.  Damage grows, symptoms worsen, one feels worse.

Until you cannot even muster up the energy to get up in the morning.

Until the world around you has lost its color and meaning.

Until you lose all of those around you because of what you’ve slowly become.

Perhaps such a thing is familiar to some you.”

Sorry, your right. the question about Akyri´s survival was supposed to ask about how Akyiri surived before she was found by Yagarai, not Yukikiba.

“Well, even the parts of the cave near the entrance still have food and water.  It isn’t comfortable living...but it’s still living.”

What was Akyiris social environment like before her soul was broken?

“Most people get along and will be very helpful.  It’s pretty rare that someone would be universally ignored or disliked, though surely there will still be bickering and disagreements.  I guess life was...normal?  Average?  I don’t think I stood out much in any way, good or bad.

However, from being where we are, being our size, and living how we do, everyone is...easily afraid and quick to run or give into their fears.  Thankfully the cramped environment keeps out the aggressive corruptions given this information.
