yes! this is exciting news and i am so happy for you, anon! actually, sarah bouhaddi went to al ula last season and sara björk gunnarsdóttir is at al qadsiah, so it's quite a OL to saudi pipeline. 😅

but more importantly, i'm happy that the girls in saudi will be able to see these amazing players and help grow their league. saudi has taken so many steps in recent years, and we want to keep seeing positive growth. 🙏

at the end of the day, no one will help and care about arab and muslim women than ourselves. 😤

The hike yesterday was SO MUCH FUN! It went on longer than I was told it would, we hiked for 4 hours total and covered about 12km of ground. My legs feel like lead today but it was so worth it.

The views from the top of the mountain are incredible. This place is so different from what I'm used to. It's hot and dry, desolate and lifeless, dusty and... hot. Everything is always hot around here.

The bottom of the mountains are mostly sandstone, but as you get higher you hear the sound of the rocks under your feet change. On top it's some sort of volcanic rock that sounds like tiles and glass.

There are these structures on all the mountains here that have to be hundreds of years old. My boss told me that they were probably some sort of military outpost overlooking the town of Al Ula, and that would make sense because you can see everything from there.

Next week we're doing it again, but going for a harder and higher mountain in the area. I hope my legs have recovered by then lol.
