“Wow.  It is pretty.  You said Christmas Eve is a romantic holiday here? ... I can see why.” Especially with the snow coming down, the lights of the city, people walking-- holding hands.  There was definitely an atmosphere in the air.

Danny’s arm loosened around her when she shifted to nuzzle her head against his chest, peering down at her with an amused and curious smile.  Playful, and sweet.  

“No.” He agreed, settling his arm around her shoulder again now that she was curled up comfortably against him.  “No, this isn’t a one time thing.”

Danny was still laying on his back on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.  He’d gotten as far as putting on his slacks, undershirt and tuxedo shirt-- but it wasn’t tucked in nor completely buttons.  He made a grunting whining noise, but finally pushed himself up to sit, only cringing a little.  

Colleen had already gone too a lot of effort, and she looked too pretty for him to wimp out before they even made it there.

“I’m up, I’m up...”
