Have you ever had a mouse in your home, and if so, was Spike of any help in the hunting process?

I'm knocking on anything that looks like wood, but no. I've seen a single certain c-word vermin (shhhhhhh lalalalalalala) but no rodents.

I've been curious as to what the blue open egg object is in your kitchen in the pizza/stromboli picture. It looks to me like it has flour in it - am I right? And do you keep the flour out and open all the time? If so, any issues with that? My Grandma was adamant about teaching me to keep baking supplies in super air tight containers.

Oh! It actually holds salt - I keep it next to the stove so I can season as I go and it completely changed the way I cook. I bought mine years ago on Amazon, looks like it's still available here. 

And don't worry, I keep my flour in ziploc baggies. A million of them since we buy costco flour, but they're sealed!
