"Highway Patrolman" is basically a gut punch delivered in song form
that's my sit down and cry for hours song!

Marty got me excited about Cat People though I have never seen it. Clips of it were creepy. Manhunter, House on Haunted Hill, Rosemary’s Baby, Black Sunday & Nosferatu are all on Netflix
Cat People is so good! and appropriately creepy but not terrifying. I've seen Rosemary's Baby and Nosferatu, both lovely. but I will check out the others when I psych myself up.
oh and I just rewatched Ed Wood, which I hadn't seen in ages to remind myself that I can enjoy a Tim Burton movie to prepare for Big Eyes.

I'm pretty worried a lot of girls have thought this of me (if that doesn't sound too cocky) and it's weird cause like I'm not trying to come on to you, let's just be cool straight buddies
I will vouch that girls often think that Ethan is hitting on them when nope, he is just being decent. I mean I think people who see us interact frequently think more is going on just because we are kind to each other? (also ew? Ethan is my babbbyyy, but never ever ever my bae)
but you don't know guys as well, like a lot of guys are rude and terrible and still expect that to be interpreted as flirting. so when guys are nice and kind and approachable it is kind of like "are you into me? I'm used to guys interrupting me and talking over me as flirtation?" and "what does flirting look like from a civilized person's perspective? I AM UNFAMILIAR WITH THIS RANGE OF EMOTIONS?"

Abbey needs this wonderful Emma pick-me-up (she was disappointed with her words) but she should know she’s amazing!
88problemsbutapitchaintone is the best and greatest and I am supremely jealous of all visiting everyone is doing.

Also just looked it up on YouTube and forgot it has John Cleese in it too?! Damn I need to find a DVD of this one

I didn't even know An American Tail was a movie for years because I had only ever seen Fievel Goes West and tbh I still think it is the superior film
I just asked my parents why it was so much easier for me to have access to Fievel Goes West. and the answers were "eh...it wasn't the same as the late 80's drivel they were pumping out before you were born" and "you are over estimating the amount I cared about the mice movies, Emma" from dad and mom, respectively.
but in summation Fivel Goes West is amazing and now I want to watch it.

Fievel Goes West was my SHIT back in the day. And also interestingly Jimmy Stewart’s last movie…
I loved Fievel Goes West even more! But you know my parents' uppity nature about the quality of media we consume. Though I do remember Fievel Goes West having less resistance against it then the original.
I mean mice in saloon girl costumes?? who can say no.

I never understood the fuss about Mako being such a great character. Was it the fact that her+McWeirdAccent's relationship was more platonic and that was like progressive(?) or something? Not exactly a great "character" movie overall tbh
I really felt bad for her because she could have been really cool but it was all squandered. I'm all for platonic male-female friendships but that whole story line was lame and I didn't really care.
I'm mostly here for Charlie Day and Ron Perlman.
