1. The 2011 documentary "The Love We Make" on Paul McCartney's experience of 9/11 and the benefit concert he subsequently arranged. The film was made by Albert Maysles who along with his brother David produced the famous 1964 documentary of the Beatles' first trip to the US.
2. Having a raccoon's foot placed into my mouth and having another raccoon spit up/vomit directly into my eye. I don't have rabies yet, so that's good. According to the CDC, there has never been a recorded case of foot-to-mouth rabies transmission yet, so I would be the first. Not sure about vomit as a transmission method.
3. Cooking vegan enchiladas for the first time. For those of you who are not aficionados of Mexican food, those are basically tacos covered in a sauce that, if you are in a bind, you can fashion out of a mixture of tomato sauce, salsa, and chili seasoning. No need to get fancy.
3. Producing interesting sound effects with free wave to midi conversion software. For example, reverse a wave file and then feed it into a wave to midi converter; have it play the file (which will sound like musical garbage) as a piano or organ or whatever you like, render the output, then reverse the resulting waveform. You get a file that loosely matches the notes of the original file, but the notes sound individually reversed, and slightly garbled. It's cool.
4. Producing a "remix" of With A Little Help From My Friends by adding a monster mash parade of synthesizers, dance beats, samples of Tupac and Justin Bieber, and mastering it like a contemporary pop song. As a friend said, if you want a cheap source of power, all you need to do is hook a motor up to John Lennon's grave and play this song.
5. Becoming friends with an awesome Long-Eared Owl named Leo. Leo the long eared owl. We would hang out and I would clean up his poop.
