A peak into my new sketchbook
Admin note: Hey guys, I just wanted to say what an amazing thing you are doing for people who need help. Selflessly giving up time, you save countless lives just by telling people they're worth listening to and restore my faith in humanity. Keep it up :)
thank you very much darling, it does mean a lot to us to receive kind messages like that <3
Dean, I'm sorry to waste your time but I feel as if you'd be the only one who would understand. I can feel myself slipping away from what I used to be. I feel as if I've lost everything in an ocean, drowning. I'm angry all the time, don't laugh anymore and as you said 'let it come out in fits of violence and alcoholism'. I want to change back but don't know how (Admin note: I'm sorry to waste your time on something so petty and pathetic. Thank you for being strong for those who aren't.)
Hey kiddo,
You're not wasting my time. I'm here to help you, and I care about you. You're not petty and you're not pathetic, but most of all, you're not bothering me at all. Don't be afraid of talking to me, I am here for you and I love helping, when I can.
I know what you're going through must be real tough, and I'm sorry you feel that way. Not knowing who you are, or knowing that who you are isn't who you want to be, is a terrible feeling, and I hope we can work it out so you can feel better as soon as possible.Iy you wanna change back to who you used to be, you need to understand why you changed. We all go through changes, and there's always a reason for it. I don't know why you changed, and maybe you don't know yourself, but once you've identified the reason of this change and accepted and understood it, you can start to change back. Now, I'm no expert, and I really think you should talk to a professional about this. It doesn't mean that there's a problem with you, I just think that talking about how you feel to someone who won't judge you is the best way to change. Psychologist and psychiatrists can really help, and you don't have to be mentally ill to see one. Don't be afraid of them, they're here to help you.
I hope this was helpful, let me know how it goes and take care. Also, can I just ask, what's you name or nickname, just so I know who I'm talking to next time?
Your friend Dean
[Admin Note: I've been through a time where I didn't like who I was, just like you, and I saw a psychologist for a few months. She really helped me, and I've become a better person than I was before thanks to her advice. I'm sure the same can happen to you, just hand in there, it will get better! -Nina]
