Genderbent AU!! Open to all!!

No one knew how, why, or when, but a kitchen staff had out something in the meal packs, making them a little sweeter and addicting. A few soldiers had commented about it on the way out, but no one paid too much mind to it.

However, maybe they should have. Because now all the soldiers were waking up completely swapped around. The male soldiers now a woman, and the women soldiers now men. After a while, they gathered in the common room, all equally confused at what the hell happened overnight.

Albie stands in the crowd, looking over his body with confusion, long hair dropping down as he looks at his shorter legs. "What the hell happened?" He asks himself and sighs, running his hands through his middle length hair with a heavy complaint. "This is stupid, why am I a lady?! And why is my hair so damn long!?" He adds on with his now different voice while throws his hands up, sitting on a lounge and shaking his head.

Solo mission, middle of fuck-nowhere, trampling through a forest to find his objective. "Gh..." Albie grunts as he treads through the dirt and leaves, heavy gear weighing him down. But he continues to walk on, looking around carefully as to not get shot. Not the best outcome. After his legs start to ache, Laswell comes into comms with radio static in his ear.

"Krchr - McKinner, found anything yet?" She asks, watching his location and body cam from the office.

He huffs and shakes his head. "Nothing." He mumbles, then stops walking after he hears shuffling. "...Maybe." he whispers and crouches down, trying to listen and locate. Somewhat like a bat, echolocation. "Potential... soldier." He whispers into comms, griping his gun and aiming it at the entrance of what seems to be an abandoned camp house.

He stalks through, clearing room after room before Albie hears small chatter and footsteps, and he quickens his pace to try and find them before they get away. He enters a small supply closet, flashlight on his gun as he aims it in, eyes scattering over the room. "Surrender, you've been found." He coldly states as he stares into the eyes of a soldier backed into the corner, weapon aimed right back at him. "Put it down." He growls out, pointing to the ground. "Now!"

[Albie was on a mission, dealing with getting intel and such from Daggers old base. Dagger had been forced onto the mission because there happened to not be another available medic at the time. It’s wasn’t going well. They’d been given the wrong info and been ambushed by Daggers old team.]

[Albie watched as Dagger was taken to the ground by one of his old sergeants. Dagger looked terrified, he was unarmed, staring silently at Albie.]

[Help the medic? Or let his old team take him back?]

Albie watches Dagger get taken down, holding his rifle tightly and staring the medic down. "Fuck-" He grumbles and aims his rifle at the Sergeant. "Get off him!" He yells and tries to shoot the man, but gets jabbed in the side and falls down, gun dropping down and blood spilling from his side. "Guhh-!" He screams out and tries to grab his gun, eventually shooting the Sergeant in the right ear, skimming his head. "Fuuuckkk!" He exclaims again, clutching his side and trying to keep the wound closed. The bullet had entered and seemed to be jammed in his abdomen, no exit wound. "Dagger-!" He yelps out with blood spitting from his mouth. "Get- Off!" Chaser gets up and tackles the Sergeant down, punching his nose and breaking it. "Shots weren't a warning?!" He yells into the old team-mates face, but drops unconscious from the blood loss.

(Hybrid AU againnnnnnnn)

It’s been a long week on a duo mission and Albie and Lynx had just arrived to the safe house and had began to settle. Albie had noticed Lynx was off in some ways but assumed it was nothing until currently. Lynx was sitting on the small couch, whining and holding a pillow.

“Albie…- think I’m sick…”

Albie knew damn near immediately what was happening, Lynx’s scent was different and his behaviors matched those of someone going through heat…though it was odd since it wasn’t even the right time.

Albie huffs and glares at Lynx, putting his gun down with a huff. "Sure. Sick is just the right word." He grumbles and rubs his nose, shooing the man away. "God, your pheromones are through the roof... Go somewhere else, dude." He complains and covers his sensitive nose, ears flat down and tail swishing in annoyance. "Jee.." He huffs and looks over the safe house, throwing a pillow at Lynx's face. "Go! You reek of heat hormones, and I'm trying to focus, dude. See if there's any traps." He snaps and growls slightly at Lynx. "Damned horny mutt." He complains again and checks the lights work.

Off duty/break day, in rough uniform with the logo and stuff, some gear on (belt, knee pads, some tech, etc). Other soldier mentioned is you/the insert.

Albie was at a small park center on a little wander, talking to another soldier as he sipped on an iced tea, blabbering for a little before he sat down by the water. He kept talking to the other, then silenced to enjoy the scenery of a lake nearby base. They keep silent, a few comments and laughs, before a young girl shuffles over looking shy, smiling. "H-Hi!" She smiles, a little dress on with some flower print. Albie turns to the other soldier in confusion, then greets the girl while her mother eyes from afar, nodding her on. "Uhhmm- I- I wanted to ask if.. You guys are cool soldiers?" She bites her nails a little, shy and swaying on her heels. "Because my- My daddy is a soldier. And he's super cool, my mammy says." She smiles a little, wriggling closer to touch one of Albie's pieces of gear and roughly name some of them.

Aforementioned amputated Albie was clinging to me ALL DAY. And.. Here's some stuff for it. I gave in to the voices, okay?

Open rp? Maybe.? Some mild angst and sad stuff.

Explosion blew his leg off, amputated above the knee so he has some scarring and burn marks on his left leg, but not too bad. Need to find some prosthetic references, too. Grumble grumble.

After the incident and a whopping 173 days in the infirmary urgent care, therapy sessions, physical therapy included, and many many visits from friends, Albie was finally out of the infirmary with a small smile, having a few weeks on base before his final discharge to send him home for good. No soldier could run from gunfire and enemies with a prosthesis, right? So- In hindsight.. He wasn't needed.

Albie was standing in the common room kitchen sector, wiggling his leg a little as he stirs his coffee. "Mm.." Albie grunts and keeps stirring the sugar in, headache forcing him to grip the table. Doctor's said it was because of his brain trying to adapt, but- This was bad. So bad that one second he was stirring the mug, blinked, and the next he was splat on the floor, vision blurred and spinning. "Hhhhhrr.." Albie groans loudly from the floor, knowing a few people were already in the room and most likely saw his fall. Or- Whatever happened.

Lynx chuckles gruffly as he accidentally spooks Albie before shaking his hand.

“Lynx is my callsign, unofficially, but still. Real name is…not important.”

The taller man folds his arms infront of his chest.

“The small base up north. Whys it so important hm?”

(just introducing Lynx but I’d be more than willing to be included in the hybrid rp, gotta set up his blog still.)

"Ah, okay. Sounds bad ass." He nods and crosses his arms back at Lynx. "It's important to know because I've been to hundreds of bases and never know anyone. Just want to know if we've talked before and I haven't realised. But, I mainly travel to main bases or conjoined teams. Veer away from small towns." He shrugs and checks the time, then goes back to his work. "You all signed in and checked?" He asks Lynx while sorting the paperwork, dogtags clinking around his neck under his black uniform. "Be a bit silly introducing yourself if you're not signed in yet. Finished all the transfer paperwork with Price?"

(Ahh okay. Well, @dagger-the-medic has a supernatural rp post you can join as anything really. Dagger (the OC) is an avian with a torn wing who's kind of obsessed with being in pain (the mod loves to torture Dagger).

Angst open rp

My man is sad, give him some love (maybe reflected off mod who's maybe crying and maybe doing this to themself)

Albie was really off recently, kind of sulking and rarely eating his meals. He's in his barracks at the moment, small room empty as he lies under the covers, making small whimpers and whines of agony. He'd been seen rarely outside of his barracks, then he disappeared into his room. From outside, Albie's whines are softly audible and weak, the man shuffling slowly as he lays on his bed. Inside, the man is curled with his back to the door, shaking and crying with his head shoved into a pillow. He goes silent every few half hours, falling asleep from the exhaustion of crying all the time. So now, a soldier stands at his door, listening inside and trying to talk to the whimpering man.
