Henry never quite imagined he would find himself doing any kind of labor for somewhere like a circus in all his days. It was still doing his usual work, photography along with something he only had a bit of experience in, advertising, but his job would singularly be in this circus until... He hadn’t decided quite yet.
Escaping from the room never necessarily meant FREEDOM. The moment he escorted Eileen from the hospital and took a true look at the world around them he knew things were going to change for the two of them from here on out. Eileen was a wonderful source of comfort in her own ways and he did his best to offer it back to her but Henry found that even moving to North Ashfield didn’t feel far enough from the apartments that held him in a never ending nightmare for nearly a week.
There were portions of the horror that Eileen could never understand which he experienced and portions he could never understand from her experiences. His own experiences made remaining in one spot feel tight and constraining, something he’d never really experienced before. He found himself wanting to leave more and more each day, Eileen noticed it more and more as the days went by, possibly recognizing it better than Henry himself and eventually told him it was for his best.
But to come back eventually, not to wander off forever. It wouldn’t fix him but perhaps some time wandering would do him some good. Eileen was the reason he now carried his old cell phone with him, in case she needed him eventually but other than that his only real connection back to his old life was the camera carefully tucked into his backpack.
Which brought him here... He’d heard the name Cirque Carni Valle around before but he’d never quite got into the fascination with circus’ and carnivals. The frames always seemed too crowded and colors too muddled to be visually appealing to him. Yet, they needed help and he needed work that matched up with his current life style.
Henry had started nearly immediately after he was given permission to by his, he could only say rather STRANGE new boss. He had stopped at one of the stalls featuring a game trying to get an exciting angle of one of the panels displaying the title.
