A nice review of SteepShot from Hong Kong ⚡️☕️#Repost @alcheng88 with @get_repost ・・・ First of all, I’d like to thank team @steepshotcoffee for sending over a fully functional test unit for my testing. . This is my first SteepShot brew using @timwendelboe Caballero Geisha, and I’m definitely shocked at how fast you can brew using the SteepShot (check the timer on the scale)! Their recommended recipe is 12g:200g, and I chose to use 96C brew water with an Aeropress sized grind. (You’re free to experiment with all sorts of grind, water temp, filters, etc. as well.) Once filled with hot water and locked, I swirled the SteepShot 3-4x to make sure all the grinds are fully saturated and properly extracted. Then it’s ready to shoot! This part made me a bit nervous at first, but there wasn’t any accidental splashes or spills due to the excellent design (of course following instructions help too 😅). In the cup, a very fragrant Geisha with sweet notes of bergamot and jasmine, a medium body due to the use of the mesh filter. I’ll be trying paper filter as well... More brews to follow! 😉👌🏼☕️ . If you still haven’t heard about SteepShot, please kindly check the details in their fully funded Kickstarter page. . . #alcheng88 #steepshot
