look sometimes in your life you just need to make an evil bastard and draw him a lot because you also somehow made his really REALLY pretty the party's only met him once as an npc played by my dm- as a reminder. i just love this guy and he's existed in my head too long-

anyways i like thinking that if he ever becomes my player character, i get to do some devious shit and have the party go along with it unknowingly and idk. maybe summon a demon without them noticing

also technically we dont have a cleric of bahamut in the party yet. but drearujorith seems to be going down that road (that or paladin) and i thought it was a fun addition~~~~

and here's the sketch!!!! i was gonna make the background a ritual chamber but ehhhhh i like the idea of the party figuring it out AFTER hes done stupid shit

uni's been kicking my ass recently so im drawing things that spark joy <3 and of course! a thing that sparks great joy is my very pretty very morally dubious boy aldous who i love oh so dearly ...im normal about him.

i really like drawing him in his pyjamas recently??? like i KNOW THAT SOUNDS WEIRD AS FUCK but idk. something about drawing cozy scenes when its really cold is just nice!! and also i wish i could pull of pyjamas like that- theyre so niceeeeeeeeeee but uh ye!! i think theyre all cozy n stuff (and honestly more in line with how i just wear ratty old clothes to bed lmao. i dont understand pyjama sets) and also i thought it would be fun to have some kinda sleeve thing covering his burns, at least above the elbow im not too well-versed on how burns work (ive tried doing research i SWEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR- its only first aid. but theyre also magical so they dont have to be perfectly accurate~) but yea!! aldous in his pyjamas lookin all cozy~~~ (not pictured are slippers which are either boot looking things OR the silliest things in the world, given to him by alruna as a joke.)

The Character Of All Time returns!!!! originally this was just gonna be a sketch of aldous looking all cozy on a windowsill but then i got to thinking and was like "damn this could be a fun nighttime artwork" but then i thought it could be fun if like- its aldous about to do some extra stupid demon-related bs bc thats like his whole thing and AUGHHHH ITS SO COZY like he's literally up to some morally dubious stuff BUT THE ARTWORK IS SO COZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY IT ISNT FAIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

but anyways i really like this one!! i tried out using multiply layers for overlays this time (an idea i saw Maf do one time) and the shading is so good!! tho the orange light was a glow layer- i like how it looks and im gonna keep doing that lmao BUT MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ALDOUS IS SO COOL I LOVE HIM SO MUCH-

i wanted to draw aldous :) but SPECIFICALLY i wanted to draw his formal attire bc i was thinking about it and for some reason ONE OF THE RICHEST PEOPLE IN THE DAMN WORLD WAS BARELY WEATING JEWELLRY?????????????????????? also 'if desi-coded where beautiful maximalism' i didnt wanna overhaul the design too much so it did kinda end up boiling down to 'extra bangles, a Nath, and some more rings' which im not super happy with, but i like the clothes and a small fix is still a fix (he looks better later i promise) i also drew the duke and duchess of larnwick a bit ago sooooooooooooo maybe they'll turn up eventually idk :/

we all knew this was happening the moment i posted the sketch be so honest i love aldous too much to pass up on an artwork but anyways~ lighting practise!!! i really like the multiply and soft glow method! i think it works really well!! especially for dramatic lighting like this :::) but yea i guess we got aldous at the club now would there actually be modern nightclubs?? prolly not. but thats fine i can make shit up and i wanted aldous in some bisexual lighting

ALDOUS MY BELOVEDDDD oh and Kevin's here too i guess (jkjk i love kevin so much hes great) i've drawn Aldous interacting with Drearujorith, Alruna, and Eric so much, that I've kinda neglected to consider how aldous would interact with kevin and donna???? I like to think that bc kevin is usually the face of the party, aldous would probably make sure they arent completely out of their depth or embarrass themselves (as much as he would love to see them crash and burn for a bit of entertainment-) but also idk maybe aldous would try and learn a bit more about the party paladin and why he even went down that path in life. like omg aldous has the possibility to be so fun when interacting with the party-
