Conclave: Definitely Benitesco (Benítez/Tedesco) was not on my list of pairings I expected to love, but it's grown on me. Vincent can absolutely fuck the fascism out of that old man.

Arcane: 1, VIKTOR WITHOUT JAYCE. PLEASE, DEAR GOD, I'M BEGGING YOU. 2, More side female content, specifically Zaunites like Sevika, Lest, and Felicia. 3, More recognition and discussion about the classism and politics that caused this whole situation.

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

There are definitely a few kinks I squick at like watersports and sounding, but I'm fairly open to most tropes. I suppose the only thing I roll my eyes at a bit is what I have recently learned is called a "California Scene" where two characters that barely know each other or who have never had a deep convo in their life just start trauma dumping and either one or both are super emotionally intelligent for some reason and they're discussing it like it's a therapy session. I get the appeal. I'm a hairdresser so people trauma dump to me all the time but I create that environment and thankfully I've done enough shadow work to handle it. Your incredibly emotionally repressed and PTSD stricken OTP is not gonna have that kind of convo I'm sorry lol

X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.

Okay so this is where I really out myself. I don't read a lot of fan fiction. If I'm interested in a trope or AU, I will probably just write it myself. My imposter syndrome is feral when it comes to writing. I will immediately scrap something if I see someone else is already doing it (probably better) and have come to find it's just easier to avoid fanfic once I start writing for a fandom or pairing. I even had to stop reading my best friend's fic because she was so good it was discouraging me from writing my own. I wish my brain worked so that I could get inspired by good fic but alas, I'm not that lucky.

My favorite to write though is First Times. I love the initial tension and infatuation!

the notes on that post about tumblr failing to catch actual cp are HOT GARBAGE, there are people saying underage fanfic is "just as nasty" and to report it to the feds, there are people saying they hope writers of said fic get arrested, there are people saying ideally it would all be illegal... what the fuck is wrong with antis that's made them unable to recognize the difference between fic and the ACTUAL CHILDREN being exploited in this scenario??

IDK, massive frontal lobe damage? Supposedly that makes it hard for people to tell people from objects. I’d have to do some fact-checking, though. More likely it’s just selfishness and a cult mentality. Who cares if it makes it more difficult for actual exploitative pictures to get deleted; their anime kin/OTP comes first!

I'm so with you on "women's" sizing - I'm having to exchange a shirt right now and I'm going up a size, from women's 2X to... men's large. :/ women are not just twiggier versions of men but no clothing manufacturer seems to know this

Ehhhh. I mean all kinds of bodies exist in all genders, and we serve a gender diverse population, but yeah, it can be harder to fit all kinds of curves. I try to use as neutral terms as I can, thus our shirts are ‘fitted’ and ‘unisex,’ but.

hey, do any of you know where I can find more info/advice on pcos that doesn't boil down to "eat less"? I'm experiencing really bad swelling in my hands and feet ever since the birth control I was on to manage my symptoms got recalled and every pcos site is like "are you sure you're not just fat? try starving yourself by cutting down on proteins, fats, and carbs". I can't wear most of my shoes but sure, its my executive dysfunction addled diet, not my medical condition *rolls eyes*

Have you gone to the doctor?  I think you should. It could be some other medical condition. 

If it’s just PCOS related edema, there are treatments for that too.  I’m on some pretty strong diuretics myself, but they ruled out some very serious medical conditions first. 

Please go see a doctor. I know they suck, but they can help. If your doctor sends you away just telling you to lose weight, see another one if possible. Fat people don’t generally have problems with their shoes fitting.
