so i saw that post you made about alebrijes and my headcanon is that only well-remembered people (Imelda, De La Cruz) have alebrijes and that once Héctor is remembered, he gets an alebrije. There's a fic I like called "Winged Feet" that uses this idea. ~un-poquititito-loco
