Sometimes I forget hair/glam metal isn't really super popular in my country.

So... 2day I was basically explaining to my friend how I thought my taste was basic and he was like: "Bro, I've never even heard of those bands." Then I realised that, oops, maybe I'm underestimating myself

it’s time to move on. my parents will never accept me and realizing that is somehow liberating? i mean it makes me sad and angry but there’s a newfound freedom too. i can do this. i’m done putting my life on hold for people who don’t care. even if those people are family. i’m done holding my tongue when “friends” say terrible things. it’s time. it’s my time. that might sound selfish but i think i’ve earned the right to start looking out for me instead.
