When searching for new to me #BIPOCauthors who write #scifibooks I came across #thesoundofstars by #alechiadow I love a good alien invasion story and this one didn’t disappoint. It was a little slow to unravel, but I enjoyed getting to know each of the main characters as representatives of their races, as enemies, and then as friends. The use of #books and #music to bring them together really worked especially for a #bookworm such as myself.
