pirate x mermaid relationship for aleksander when?
( CLEMENTINE KERSHAW ): THAT'S QUITE A SCRATCH YOU'VE GOT THERE. eyes move quickly down to the score along his forearm, long with beads of blood bubbling up from the thin opening, but alek's expression doesn't change, not even as it begins to sting. ' would it be cliche of me to tell you i've had much worse? ' the captain glances back up at clementine, and his grin is stoic, nearly charming, as he begins to clean the shallow wound with a damp cloth. ' as you said, it's nothing but a scratch. i believe i'll live. for now, ' the cheeky way he speaks is to persuade clem that he would be just fine, but he does nod softly toward a bundle of cloth not too far from where she's standing. ' would you be so kind so to hand me that bandaging? i can have it covered in a moment's time, ' @acipaer.
'are you hurt?' it's the first thing aleksander says as the duo reaches shelter. the storm had finally passed, captain steering the ship and its crew to safety, but the last hour had been treacherous, and alek knew that many of his team would need to recover, mentally and physically. rain water drips from both clothes and curls, aleksander trudging toward the fireplace in his captain's quarters to regain some warmth for the two of them. turning back to clemintine, he glances over her own drenched form, pleased to see that no immediate wounds stuck out to him. 'i will retrieve a change of clothes for you. the last thing we need is for you to catch a cold, my lady,' @literare.
REGINA MILLS: WHO DO YOU FIGHT FOR? an interesting question, because aleksander didn't necessarily see himself as a fighter. of course, there were times where he did have to fight, but if it could be avoided, than alek would take any other path that was given. but he thinks he understands what she's asking - what keeps him going? why does he do what he does? taking a moment to ponder, alek sits back in his seat, meeting regina's eyes with some sort of knowing glint in his own. ‘ at first, it was for my mother. to cure her of her illness. once she was healthy again, i suppose i started fighting for those who didn't have any one else to fight for them. and now, here i am, ’ hands spread out as if he's ushering towards the air around him, pausing shortly before they fall back to his lap. ‘ and you? what is it you fight for? ’ @l0yalty.
( IDILIA THE LIGHTFUL ): YOU HUMANS ARE MOST AMUSING. he's heard myths and legends about nonmortal things that stray through the world, walking amongst them, disguising themselves, or perhaps even hiding in plain sight. before now, alek didn't know whether or not he believed in those stories. he did when he was a boy, when he still dreamed of things outside of the mortal world, of whimsey and wonder. now, it seems, he's looking right in the eyes of a fable made real. eyes travel over idilia's features, aleksander's own scrunched into amusement. ' i'm glad i can grant you merriment, my lady, ' the captain cocks his head just so, curious to her nature and what she's there for. ' i do hope you'll excuse my clueness nature. i've never seen anything like you, before. and you are... intrguing, to say the least. i only wish to learn more about you and where you came from, ' @loremourn.
he's checked on the rest of his crew, ensuring that they're settled in for the night, allowing them to rest while his right hand took control of the wheel. the sea was being good to them, for once, the waves calm and consistent, rolling them gently towards their destination. once he knows that his crew is down, he enters the captain's quarters, quietly closing the doors behind him to give him privacy. turning, he sees the stowaway he'd found long before this night, sitting in a chair at his desk, candlelight barely illuminating ed's features. ' as you're here, and i assume you'll be staying until we've finished with our business, i believe it to be nearly time that we teach you how to run a ship, ' aleksander says to ed, his voice quiet but amused, his hands behind his back as he approaches the other man. there's something about ed that he can't quite put his finger on, but the captain is sure he would tell him his secrets when he was ready. until then, alek took the seat across from ed and pulled out a half, glass bottle of rum, offering ed a glass. ' you'll have to introduce yourself to the crew, of course, but i assure you they are a merry group, ' he finishes with a charming smile. @blindsite.
elizabeth swan , what do you want in exchange for it?
understanding of the reputation pirates rightfully have, but knowing alek was a fair man, one who carried himself above the rest, despite taking the title in stride, the captain considered her question for a long moment. he’s contemplative, one corner of his mouth always quirked in a charming but small smile. it’s not as if the amulet he’d found meant much to him, but aleksander was aware the pirate life was some what of a business endeavor, regardless ; he needed to make it known to others that he was someone to be respected. ‘ a moment of your time would suffice, ’ grin brightens just so, the captain clutching his hands behind his back. ‘ a conversation, if you have the time. words are worth more to me than any gold, ’ and he has plenty of gold, already. @foundwcnderland.
‘ i like to think of myself as a good pirate, ’ the captain stands in front of them, charming and genuine close lipped grin set onto handsome features. hands rest behind his back, the picture of a gentleman. ‘ a bad pirate would have tried to steal you away by now, i think. i, myself, am not in the business of kidnapping, ’ aleksander takes a pause, eyes meeting the theirs. ‘ nevertheless, a pirate, i am. so where do we go from here? ’ open.
