For Lack of Vision
Everyone possesses a length of light. Individually, we can only illuminate the areas in our immediate vicinity. Together, we possess the power of a sun, capable of illuminating an entire galaxy. All it takes is the gathering of light. Everyone possesses a length of light.
To correct my own eyesight, I go to my eye doctor. I can see, but not very far and contact lenses help improve my sight. Without them, the world is a blur to me; I can’t see fine details, make out the features of a face, and lights distort shapes so much that they lose definition. Some can see far, but not near while others can see near but not far. Still others are blind or suffer other conditions which remove their vision or parts of it. This is the human condition, that we alone we lack vision. The danger of over emphasizing individuality is that we over-estimate what we think we see and refuse opportunities to improve it by working together.
