Colt normally didn’t take calls when he went out during his off night. He preferred to give whomever he was spending time with his undivided attention. And so when his phone had rung for the fifth time from Le Bordel, he apologized to the other and excused himself to take the call. He listened as the other asked him pointless questions about an escort reporting an issue. The person on the other end knows the procedures, Colts not dumb. He expecting Colt to take care of it tomorrow. Instead, Colt directed him to partner with whomever else was working to take care of it, before he ended the call, returning his attention to Alex. “I do apologize. Where were we?”
