jesus christ - alex could never get any peace, could he? maybe he didn't deserve it, but he would like a fraction of something like it. there was a reason he had scampered away with his tail between his legs, leaving heaven to fend for itself. he was tired of being the creator, the fixer, the cleaner. after he had messed up so astronomically on every experiment he had tried, he decided that maybe everyone would be better off if he left it all in their hands. but now he'd been found, and not just by anyone. as alex looks at lou, he'd love nothing more than to snap himself away, perhaps to a tropical island somewhere, where he could hide amongst sea water and palm trees. instead, the being swallows his spit and tries to look lou in the eyes ( failing, his gaze lands just to the left ). 'you're the last person i expected to see around here,' alex says, clears his throat, rolls his shoulders. 'how'd you find me?' @bloodykneestm / lou.
