alex day was another very popular youtuber in the golden age of youtube. he was roommates with char coollike and in two popular-on-youtube bands—chameleon circuit (a doctor who fan band) & sons of admirals—as well as making music as a solo artist. i believe one of his songs was the first ever independently released youtuber songs to chart well & it did so with no support from a label.
he was outed as an abuser in the early 2010s. dan and phil were never close with him but had a handful of videos that referenced or mentioned him, all of which were taken down after that came to light—including how to make british pancakes, because of this shot:
char was also in both bands and is the only member of sons of admirals that did not turn out to be an abuser.
