the fact that webkinz named a species "googles" and never backed down from it is really funny to me because like. nintendo changed the dialogue of a throwaway npc in a zelda game once because she said "yahoo!" and they were scared they'd get sued by yahoo but ganz is just like. yeah no we don't care if google is the biggest search engine and owns an obscene amount of sites and properties. thats our funny platypus so.

ive finally filled my plush room so im starting another >:3

im kinda like fascinated with the variation in art style for different items in webkinz. mostly food but like here look

these ones all look suitably cartoony and have nice detail to them

while these ones look like. super detailed and like. almost realistic. like the third one looks like its straight up using a photo of cereal for the top

and then there are certain old items that have a certain. feel? to them? like

like its something about the shading and highlights on these items that make them really stick out to me

and then theres stuff that just looks like.. totally out of place. i think it mostly comes down to the shading not aligning with the general style of webkinz items

also whats up with this guy. just like in general

i dunno. i just think its interesting (-:
