On today's edition of mild yet increasingly annoying inconvenience: my Alexa is having difficulties with my lamp.
Specifically one particular lamp, the other two connected to the same device still work fine. However, when I want to turn this one on/off, by saying "turn <my full name>'s lamp on/off" it responds with "<my full name> doesn't support that". I am unaware of any other app/skill thing that shares my name and is enabled.
Again, doesn't do this with any other lamps/plugs connected to it.
Equally strange is that it now responds to just the word "lamp", as in "turn lamp on/off".
(Because I'm lazy and there's a work around for this, I have done exactly nothing to try and fix it.)

(previous copyrighted content removed.) 2 days ago, I was inspired to create a video about Alexa based on Markiplier's Alexa not doing what he wanted it to. (Alexa owners know this struggled too well.) This fits with his issue.
It was originally because I felt more creative than ever....and I'd just lost my job, so maybe I'm in denial. But after watching Markiplier's video on 5/9/18, and him asking us to make videos on his behalf, this one's for you, Mark. #MarkiplierIsExiled .
My low quality android phone is all I have beyond my webcam, so please be kind. ^_^ This took me HOURS to edit, and Shotcut kept crashing.
Feels like home to be back in it again --the frustrations included.
