Ask me about my ocs?
Any questions are fine. The OCs in question:
Alexander Glencoe: human dae-knight, clairvoyant, always walking around talking to ghosts and looking downright melancholic
Rebecca Sheridan: human-turned-vampire, sells hand-sewn stuffed animals at the mall, honest but in a kind and constructive way
Ursula Pigeon: human dae-knight, paladin of Theol, awkward and shy but so very compassionate, lucky to the point of absurdity
Jean-Marie Mullins: human gai-knight, plant mage, looks like a hard-ass but actually he’s just always on the verge of a panic attack
Inara Snowpaw: lynx shifter gai-knight, ice warlock, so determined to prove her worth that she often ends up sabetaging herself
Anju Malik: rakshasi dae-knight, sword fighter extraordinaire, kind of simple-minded but otherwise a shining beacon of justice
Vera Dean: nightmare dae-knight, chaos enchantress, bittingly sarcastic and smart as a whip, basically Anju’s complete opposite
Send me an emoji (any emoji) and a name to get a random fact about that OC!

Okay to reblog! Just send me an ask first
Hi, wanted to ask what types of personalities your oc’s have? I especially like to know Alexander and Rebecca and if there are any flaws/troubles they are trying to fix in their lives?
Happily!!! I am and will always be willing to gush about my fictional head children
So Alexander first—
His biggest flaws are passivity and negativity, which kind of go hand in hand for him. Alex is really good at noticing the flaws in things, which means that he often overlooks the good. If Alex believes that a certain task is futile, he’s far less likely to even bother trying. In fact, many of his projects just never become “good enough” for him, since Alex is always nit-picking them.
Alexander is a rather insecure guy at heart. He’s got a deeply sensitive soul, so he can easily be hurt. He tries to cover up this side of him with tongue-in-cheek humor, hyperbole, and other kinds of verbal irony.
At worst, Alex’s cynicism makes him come off as apathetic. But at his best, Alex’s skepticism and rationality help ground his more idealistic friends.
Rebecca, on the other hand, suffers the most when she’s bored. She grew up in a very rigid, stagnant environment, where anything that threatened routine and tradition was vilified. As such, she became extremely rebellious as a teenager, flocking to the other extreme position. In short, she became a careless thrill-seeker, living from one indulgent, selfish experience to the next. The more dangerous the idea, the more appealing it became to her.
While Rebecca has matured over the last few years, she hasn’t completely shaken this habit. Every once in a while, she will become “emotionally itchy”, and become compelled to take a big risk. This risk can be anything from trying a new alcoholic drink, to breaking into someone’s private garden at night to smell the flowers.
At worst, Rebecca’s actions can put herself and anyone she roped into her schemes in serious trouble. But at her best, she’s a fun, lively person, who isn’t afraid to take risks, and who makes the most out of every day.
The two balance each other out in this way. Alexander rarely ever took risks before he met Rebecca, because he didn’t have the confidence to try. And Rebecca had such an aversion to tranquility, because she associated it with boredom, stagnation, and stuffiness.
But then Rebecca’s courage starts to rub off on Alexander, so that he has the confidence needed to take risks, and Rebecca starts to associate tranquility with Alex, so that she learns how to enjoy relaxation.
Thank you for asking!!!
Hey was looking at your oc content and love the designs and descriptions of them. I have many questions to ask about them but I guess I can start with is there a planned lore for all of them (like is their a major plot involving all of them together or do they have more of a slice of life kind of thing going for them, both types I like a lot just curious on which one) Thank you ^^
Yeeeee this is basically my dream question, thank you!!
The answer is YES, there is a major plot involving all of them together, although the plot itself is fitted into more of a monster-of-the-week type format, where the challenges the characters face steadily become more and more, well, challenging!
It’s a story that takes place in my own world, called Pandemia. It’s got a faux medieval/high fantasy setting, but with some elements of steampunk and 1950′s film noir. This world is inhabited by humans, demons, fairies, and elemental beasts of all shapes and sizes! Also, magic exists, and gods are known to walk the earth, so everything we would see as fantastical is very mundane to the citizens of Pandemia
The main character is Alexander Glencoe, a 19-year-old young man
^This is my friend’s concept art of him ( @donnasaturno )
He’s a student at the Porter Dae Knighthood Academy (PDK Academy for short), where veteran knights train young pages and put them through various trials to determine their eligibility for knighthood
Unfortunately, PDK Academy has a limit on how many times pages can retake the course. After the third year of flunking out, the student’s spot in the academy is given to a new recruit. The story begins at the start of Alexander’s third and final year at the academy. He’s already failed twice, and he’s more or less given up on any chance of becoming a knight
This wouldn’t be the worst thing for Alexander. He’s only stuck with this career path so long because he doesn’t have other options. In West Osonia, the queendom in which Alexander resides, children must go into the same line of work as their parents, aside from a few specific exceptions. Alex is pacifistic, meditative, and sentimental. He was always more of an artistic kid than an athletic one. And so, he feels out of place at the academy
This year, though, when the story begins, Alex’s luck shifts, just a little
His new classmates (Ursula, Jean-Marie, Inara, and Anju, just to name a few) are taking a more collaborative, and less competitive, approach to their education. Additionally, Alex meets Rebecca, a young vampire woman with a complicated past, who brings him into her friend group
^A recent drawing I did of some of the characters
Rebecca’s friends are of a different social class, the artisan class, which is full of inventors, artists, and performers. Instead of defining themselves by rules of chivalry and honor, they enjoy indulging in all of life’s pleasures, both grand and small
It’s these new relationships that really inspire Alex to re-imagine what he wants out of life, and how he can go about achieving those goals
As you can probably guess, the main themes in the story have to do with growing up, finding one’s purpose in life, confronting the limitations that are placed onto individuals by societal structures, and the importance of having strong relationships built on respect, love, and truth
Thank you for asking!! I hope this helped answer some of your questions about them. Please, I’d love to chat about them more, if you have any other questions!
Now lemme have 12-22 with Alexander please~
Of course!! Thank you for asking about my best boy!
12. Favorite holiday?
Alexander’s favorite holiday is Kiesday, which is sort of like our Halloween. It’s a holiday dedicated to Quiesco, the trickster deity of dreams, nightmares, and mischief. It’s generally celebrated with masquerade parties, where people dress up and there’s a bunch of games about trying to determine who’s who.
13. Tattoos?
No tattoos, no. Tattoos aren’t particularly widespread in this universe.
14. What was their first kiss like?
It was very short and sweet. Alexander started dating his first girlfriend in middle school. It was a short-lived but sweet romance.
15. Have they ever lost somebody they loved?
Yes, but there’s only one non-spoiler instance I can share. Alexander had this fluffy white spitz dog named Lady, who he basically grew up beside. When she passed away, her ghost started following Alexander around everywhere.
16. They find a genie and are granted three wishes, what do they wish for, and why?
Oh man, this is an interesting one. First, Alex would wish to change class so he could become a pianist instead of a knight. Second, Alex would wish that his father and Rebecca would get along. And lastly, Alex would probably wish for something altruistic, like an end to world hunger.
17. They’re stranded on an island and can only have 4 items and one companion, who and what do they bring?
Alexander would probably bring Ursula, because she can summon a hippogriff to fly them home. Along with that, he’d bring a jacket, a refillable water bottle, and a bag of dried fruit and jerky to munch on.
18. What’s a quote (not from their universe), that you associate them with?
“In this world, you must be oh so smart, or oh so pleasant. For years, I was smart. I recommend pleasant.”
19. Any romantic interests?
Yup! Alexander is dating Rebecca. He also has a few secret admirers, but those crushes are unrequited.
20. What kind of accent do they have?
I don’t know, actually! I haven’t figured out how languages work in my world, because I’m afraid I’ll go and make up my own languages, and no one wants that.
21. What is their most prized possession?
Honestly, it would be Lady’s tennis ball. His mother (who is a medium) bound Lady’s soul to it when she passed, so as long as Alexander keeps the tennis ball safe, Lady’s ghost gets to stick around on the mortal plane with him
22. Have they ever stolen anything?
This is a big no. Alexander is the type of person who would never even consider it. He was a precocious only child, spoiled to death by his father, but at the same time, raised with a firm sense of right and wrong. Alex really was his father’s pride and joy… just the most dutiful little student, smart and observant, rarely making any fuss. Though, now that Alexander is dating Rebecca, this may change…
